How do you make a memory feel like a memory? ✨

For this fictional piece created for MEATER, we were tasked with bringing an 80s flashback to life — not just through the location and set design, but through every visual decision made around it.

We chose a setting that naturally reflected the period, then moved away from clean, neutral daylight in favour of warmer tungsten lighting. The softer colour temperature helped create a sense of comfort and nostalgia, while the production design and carefully considered colour grade brought the final look together with a subtle vintage feel.

Because lighting isn’t just about making a scene visible. Combined with the right location, set design and colour palette, it becomes part of the storytelling — shaping how a moment feels before a single word is spoken.

4 years ago today, Briony & Ashleigh said “I do” surrounded by the people they love at The Pumping House 🤍

From the deep forest green tones complementing the beautiful surroundings, to a burst of colour filling the skies, every detail of their day felt completely them.

But beyond the styling, it was the moments in between that made this wedding so special — the nerves, the laughter, and the many happy tears shared before walking down the aisle.

A day full of love, emotion and unforgettable memories… and one we feel incredibly lucky to have captured.

Every now and then, someone asks us... “How did you two meet?” 🤍

The answer usually surprises people.

Long before Sheridale Productions, before weddings, before brand films, we were just two students making short films together at college. We had no idea those projects would eventually become the foundation of a business we’d build together.

Looking back, it’s funny how the smallest moments can shape the biggest chapters.

Not every barbecue ends with everyone getting their steak exactly how they like it.

This sequence from the MEATER Pro XL Launch Campaign was designed to show exactly what makes the product different. Four wireless probes. Four steaks. Four completely different target temperatures. All monitored remotely through the MEATER app, without anyone needing to stand over the grill.

But features only matter if they improve the experience.

That’s why the film doesn’t stop at the cooking. It ends where it should: friends gathered around the table, each enjoying a steak cooked exactly the way they wanted on a sunny summer afternoon.

As a small creative detail, we also remixed MEATER’s iconic jingle to give the sequence its own playful rhythm and reinforce the fun, energetic feel of the campaign.

Sometimes the best product films aren’t just about what a product can do… they’re about the moments it helps create.

Why You Should Write Each Other a Letter 💌

Not every emotion needs to be spoken in front of a room full of people.

For many couples, exchanging personal letters on the morning of their wedding becomes one of the most meaningful moments of the day.

A handwritten letter gives you the space to say everything that’s on your heart—without the pressure of standing in front of your guests. It can be full of promises, favourite memories, gratitude, or even the inside jokes that only the two of you will ever understand.

Unlike flowers or decorations, it’s also something tangible. A keepsake you’ll still have years from now, ready to read again whenever you need reminding of how that morning felt.

As wedding filmmakers, these are some of our favourite moments to capture. They’re quiet, genuine, and beautifully personal—often setting the tone for everything that follows.
