What a weekend. Back from shooting loads of weddings and it’s been an absolute blast. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be wrapping up the final edits of the season and updating my portfolio. After some research and hunting over the internet I finally found why we say ‘cheers’. The origin of the term dates back to the late Middle Ages, where it was derived from the Old French word “chiere,” meaning “face” or “head.” Over time, its meaning evolved to signify happiness or good mood, and eventually became associated with toasting and expressing goodwill.

This season, I had the pleasure of photographing a lovely wedding at . It’s a beautiful barn conversion with a stylish, classy feel. The staff were fantastic, the food was wonderful, and the venue and grounds were stunning.
