The photographs might be what first catches your eye…

But the experience is what stays with you.

When you’re choosing a wedding photographer, you’re choosing someone who’ll be by your side for one of the biggest days of your life.

Someone who’ll calm your nerves, blend into the background when it matters, gently guide you when you need it and notice the little moments you’ll treasure for years to come.

Reading messages like these will never stop meaning the world to me.

Thank you to every couple who’s trusted me with their story. 🧡

Choosing your venue is about so much more than finding somewhere that looks beautiful.

It’s about finding somewhere that feels like you.

Somewhere you can picture your favourite people all in one place.

Somewhere that makes you excited every time you drive through the gates.

That’s why I’m such a big fan of venue open days. They give you the chance to wander around, meet the team, chat to suppliers and imagine your day actually happening there.

Trust your gut. The right venue usually just feels right.

Have you found yours yet, or are you still searching?

People often ask me why I became a wedding photographer.

The truth is, I don’t think it was ever about the camera.

I just love people.

I love watching families come together, seeing friendships that have lasted a lifetime, and noticing the little moments that often pass everyone else by.

I’m not the loudest person in the room, and I don’t think you need to be to do this job well.

I like to observe first, photograph second.

So if you’re looking for someone who’ll gently guide you when you need it, quietly blend into the background when you don’t, and leave you with photographs that feel like your day, I think we’ll get on just fine.

I’d love to know… what’s something people usually notice about you?

Things I’ve noticed…

The longer I do this job, the more I realise it was never really about the photographs.

It’s about people.

The way a dad looks at his daughter before she walks down the aisle.

The proud smile on a grandparent’s face.

The quiet squeeze of a hand when nobody else notices.

The moments in between that aren’t on the timeline but somehow end up meaning the most.

Maybe that’s why I love wedding photography so much.

Not because every wedding is different…

But because every family is.

Every couple is.

Every story is.

And somehow, I get to witness it all.

I don’t think I’ll ever stop feeling grateful for that.

What’s one little moment at a wedding that’s always stayed with you?

Some weddings just feel joyful from the moment you arrive… and Leah & Joe’s was exactly that.

From the second they saw each other, they didn’t stop smiling. The kind of smiles that spread to everyone around them and make a wedding feel completely effortless to photograph.

And then there was the veil. Absolute perfection 👌. It caught the light beautifully, danced in the breeze, and created some of my favourite images from the whole day.

Manor House was the perfect backdrop for it all, but honestly, it was Leah & Joe’s happiness that stole the show.

These are the days I love most, the ones where all you have to do is follow the smiles.

It’s so easy to feel like your wedding has to tick every box.

The perfect timeline.
The latest trends.
Everything exactly as you’ve seen it online.

But some of my favourite weddings have been the ones that quietly did things their own way.

No speeches.
Dogs as ring bearers.
Cake for dessert.
A Guinness with Dad.
Country music all day.
Private moments instead of traditions.

None of those things made the day “better”.

They just made it feel like them.

So if you’re planning your wedding, here’s your reminder…

You don’t have to do what everyone else is doing.

You just have to make it feel like you.

What’s one tradition you’d happily skip?

Go to your venue’s open day!

Even if you’ve already booked it.

There’s something about seeing the space dressed for a wedding, meeting suppliers face to face and imagining your day actually happening there that makes everything click into place.

And don’t feel like you have to make any decisions on the spot. Just have a wander, ask questions and see who you naturally connect with.

I’ll be at Manor House today, so if you’re coming along, please come and say hello. I’d love to hear all about your plans ✌️❤️

Have you been to a venue open day yet, or is it still on your to-do list?

I love colour. It captures the atmosphere, the flowers, the details and everything you’ve carefully chosen for your day.

But every now and then, there’s a photograph that just feels different in black and white.

It strips everything back and lets the moment speak for itself.

The emotion.
The expression.
The connection.

That’s why you’ll always receive a mix in your gallery. Not because black and white is a trend, but because some moments simply feel more timeless that way.

Sarah & Corey’s day felt special from the very beginning.

The morning started in their family homes before a beautiful church ceremony surrounded by their favourite people.

Then came one very important guest appearance from their pooch Gigi, who joined us for a few photos before everyone headed to Coton House Farm for drinks, canapés and celebrations.

The speeches were full of heartfelt moments, and one of my favourite parts of the day was seeing Sarah share a cheeky Guinness with her dad at the Guinness bar.

Just one of those little moments that you’ll remember long after the day is over.

The evening finished exactly as it should — with a packed dance floor and everyone making the most of every second.

A brilliant day for two genuinely lovely people.

Congratulations, Sarah & Corey 🙌

✌️❤️
