Once again, on my way home from work, I spotted some farming contractors hard at work in a field near Cottesmore. 🚜🌾

After seeing how much everyone enjoyed the last set of harvest photos, I couldn't resist heading home, grabbing the drone, and going back to capture some more aerial shots of the action.

Harvest is such a busy time of year, and it's always great to document the incredible work that goes into bringing in the crops. I hope you enjoy these latest photos as much as the last ones!

Some moments are simply too good to drive past...

On my way home from work, I spotted a combine harvester hard at work in a field near Oakham. I couldn't resist nipping home to grab the drone and capture the scene from above.

What made it even more impressive was that one farmer was doing it all—operating the combine harvester and then jumping into the tractor and trailer to transport the grain back to the farm. It's a real reminder of the hard work, dedication and long hours that go into harvest season.

A huge thank you to all of our local farmers for everything you do to keep the countryside and our food supply going.

Sometimes all it takes is a few moments in the sky to see the world from a completely different perspective.

I took a quick flight to 120 metres above Barrowden, and the view was nothing short of breathtaking. As the camera climbed higher, the village, rolling countryside, and patchwork fields came together to create a scene that truly showcases the beauty of Rutland.

It's easy to forget just how incredible the landscapes around us are until you see them from above. Every flight tells a story, and this one is a reminder of why I love capturing our county from the air.

What a great morning at the Empingham Dog Agility Show at Rutland Showground

I was honoured to be invited to this private event to capture aerial photographs of the show. A huge thank you to the organisers for putting their trust in me to document such a fantastic occasion from above.

It was brilliant to see so many talented dogs, dedicated handlers, and supporters enjoying the event.

What a brilliant afternoon at Barrowden Fest 2026

I've been out capturing some amazing aerial photos and video of this brilliant community event with the drone.

If you're looking for something to do this weekend, there's still plenty of time to visit:

Today: Open until 8:00pm Tomorrow: 12:00pm – 8:00pm

There's something for everyone, including: Art stalls, Live music, Delicious food Refreshments. A great way to spend some time with family and friends.

I've decided to invest in a DJI Osmo Pocket 4 4K Ultra to take my content to the next level!

While I'll still be bringing you the aerial views you know and love, I'll now be able to capture even more from the ground. From local events and car shows to countryside walks, behind-the-scenes footage, and smooth cinematic videos, this new addition will help tell the full story from every angle.

I feel incredibly fortunate to live and work in such a beautiful county. We truly are spoiled with the stunning scenery that surrounds us every day.

This video was captured from Lyndon Top, looking out across the breathtaking Rutland Water. Moments like these remind me just how lucky we are to call this place home.
