The McNiece Family 🤎

The fun I had on this photoshoot is honestly an understatement! I only wish I’d had my phone on me to capture some behind-the-scenes videos because it was an absolute adventure 😂

The McNiece family decided not to have newborn photos of little Doreen and instead chose to wait until she was 10 weeks old. And I’m so glad they did! 🥹

We had goats, dogs, sheep and cows joining us for the photos! We trekked through fields, wrangled animals, tried to get everyone looking in the right direction (the looking in the right direction didn’t really work if I’m being honest lol)… it was chaotic to say the least! 🐐🐶🐑🐄

But honestly? I absolutely loved every minute of it. There’s something so special about capturing a family just as they are, especially when you have a gorgeous 10-week-old baby, a whole load of animals and a little bit of chaos thrown into the mix!

I absolutely love the images we created and I left with the happiest heart

The annual Cheryl Johnson Award has been created in loving memory of Cheryl Johnson BEM - co-founder, former Chair of Trustees, Volunteer Photographer, mentor, advocate, dear friend to many, and one of the most influential figures in the history of Remember My Baby (RMB) whose compassion, dedication and selfless commitment to bereaved families made a lasting difference to so many lives.

Cheryl devoted much of her life to ensuring that bereaved parents were given precious memories during some of the darkest moments imaginable. Even while facing her own terminal illness, Cheryl continued to actively volunteer and put the needs of others before her own.

This award is a lasting tribute to Cheryl and recognises an individual who demonstrates the same qualities of compassion, kindness, dedication and commitment that Cheryl embodied throughout her life.

We welcome nominations for an individual who has made an exceptional contribution to Remember My Baby, its families, volunteers or the wider baby-loss community.

The Black Family ✨

Yesterday afternoon was all about family, home and a little bit of nostalgia

I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family at their own home that make a family’s story so special

We then headed just down the road to a little hidden gem, a place the family used to play when they were kids themselves 🥹

How lovely to return to a place filled with childhood memories but now with their own family. The perfect mix of old memories and new ones being made 🤍

I absolutely loved this session full of connection, laughter and those little moments that you’ll want to remember forever

The Hammonds 🫶🏻

Being a part of Lauren & Conor’s wedding yesterday was honestly amazing. From the moment they booked me we’ve kept in touch, so by the time yesterday came around it genuinely felt like I already knew them so well.

Also, didn’t Lauren look absolutely sensational?! 😍

The whole day was filled with so much love, laughter and happiness and I feel so lucky to have been there to capture it all.

The Station House Hotel was the most beautiful setting for them and what a day it was! 🤍

Hi, I’m Hannah 👋🏻🤍

If you’re new around here, I thought it was about time I properly introduced myself!

I’m a wedding photographer based in Northern Ireland but I travel throughout Ireland & beyond, and I have the absolute privilege of spending my days documenting some of the happiest, most emotional and meaningful moments in people’s lives.

My approach is weddings is relaxed, natural and candid. I’m not there to turn your wedding day into a photoshoot or have you posing for hours. I want you to enjoy your day, be fully present with the people you love, soak it all in while also getting those beautiful portraits that you’ll treasure forever.

For me, it’s often the little moments that mean the most.

The nervous excitement before the ceremony. The look on your fiance’s face as you walk down the aisle. Your mum wiping away a tear. Your friends making you laugh when you’re supposed to be taking a serious photograph. The hugs, the happy tears, the ridiculous dance moves and all those fleeting moments you might not even realise happened until you look back through your photographs.

I love creating images that tell the story of your day from beginning to end, photographs that bring you straight back to how it felt to be there (because I know it does that for me editing each wedding) even years from now.

Being trusted to photograph such an important day is something I never take for granted. I get to meet incredible couples, hear their stories and be welcomed into some of the most special days of their lives… and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better job 🫶🏻

For weddings we will sneak away for a little while to capture some gorgeous portraits giving you a chance to slow down and enjoy a few quiet moments.

And with newborns, it’s all about those tiny details — the little fingers and toes, sleepy cuddles, and the beautiful connection between you and your new baby.

For me, photography isn’t just about creating pretty pictures. It’s about freezing a little piece of your life exactly as it is, so you can look back on it years from now and remember how it felt.

Because life changes so quickly.

The wedding day comes and goes. Babies grow. Families change. And the moments that feel ordinary today can become the ones you treasure most tomorrow.

I feel incredibly lucky that people trust me to document these chapters for them, and I never take that for granted.

Bryony & Jonny 🤍

Yesterday at the beautiful Galgorm the new Mr & Mrs Bruce said “I do” and began the next chapter of their lives together

But yesterday was about so much more than just their wedding day. It was also the day Jonny officially adopted Ollie as his son, making an already incredibly special day even more meaningful

From now on, yesterday won’t simply be remembered as the day Bryony and Jonny got married, but as the day their family officially became a little more complete ❤️

A day filled with love, laughter, happy tears and memories that will stay with them for a lifetime
