It’s been a little while since I have been active on here. There are a multitude of reasons why…. I won’t lie, I did lose a bit of love for the social platforms, we had a country move and further house moves not so long back, I have been pretty busy with other work commitment schedules, I found coming back to Facebook/Instagram, it’s actually changed quite a bit, so figuring out the changes has been a challenge, I have been working on other areas of running a photography business, with all the logistics involved and then finally, but most importantly, we have had our most precious little girl Heidi Violet. I am not sure on the grammatical correctness of the above sentence (if you can call it that), but I am hoping to be posting here a bit more again, this is my reintroduction post and an early photo of Heidi. We are all really happy for our new little addition to the family, if not a little bit tired. More updates to come….. Colby x 😂

As the world has stilled, I miss places like this. A great piece of British heritage, now based here in Dubai (my current home town). In my old home town UK, we had a well known ship builders, Cammell Lairds in Birkenhead. I loved seeing the tops of the ships as we would pass by. Since a young age, I have always been quite fascinated at the sight of such a mega structure on the waves. This one doesn’t see so many waves now, but still an incredibly impressive structure. Now a hotel and events/function suite, a great location to visit here, when we are allowed back out! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This is when the baby will be at its most sleepy stage, perfect for photography.
