It’s May 1st and the UK Bluebells are now in full bloom. I was up bright an early for sunrise at this stunning Oxfordshire location, to capture the first light rays hitting this ancient woodland.

12th July 2020 – Scary but it’s the first time this year that the camera has been intentionally taken out. Ventured locally to Brill (Buckinghamshire) to capture the Neowise Comet that’s currently visible to the naked eye. The image was captured between in the early hours of the morning before sunrise..

Ideally, I would have liked to have been further away from the Windmill so I could use a zoom lens to compress the image, but alas not possible. I'll probably try and find another suitable location before the Comet disappears into the Cosmos later in July

The Ice Beach – Suspended animation - One from the last winter.. Being critical, this chunk of ice needs more space to breath, and if only I would have given a little more space on the left it could have turned out really well. That said this is a stunning location where no day is the same.
I must have taken about 1000 images over 2 sessions on before I’d totally got my fix.

The alarm went off at 5am to take this image. Head Torch ablaze, trekking up Stob Beinn a' Chrulaiste in the dark, not knowing for sure where you're going (other than up!) added to the pre-dawn excitement.

As it turned out the sun did not play game that November morning, The sun briefly kissed the mountains around me, but never graced the Buachaille.

This is a 5 image stitched panoroma taken just after sunrise at 7.50am, when the realisation that nothing was gong to happen had sunk in.

And it was windy and cold! 🥶

Isle of Skye, Fairy Pools from a wet and windy day. Which coincidentally, created perfect conditions for the images captured from this mighty impressive location.
