Welcome to November!

Now the clocks have gone back and Halloween is behind us we know November has well and truly arrived. A signal to dig out our overcoats and scarves in preparation for crisp walks in nature to energise us.

As a photographer it inspires me to make the most of the outdoors and short daylight hours – especially to capture the early morning or late afternoon low sunlight. It's the ideal time to gather your loved ones and beloved animals to mark a moment in time for a photoshoot. With Christmas less than two months away it's the perfect gift to yourselves, your friends and your family.

Hello August!

It's holiday time to relax, recharge and enjoy time out from the regular routine. Yipee I hear you say!

But whilst you're sunning yourself on the beach or spending time with friends and family I'd like you to think about all those quick images you'll be taking on your smartphone and the emotions they evoke.

As a professional photographer my philosophy is - a digital image is a fleeting representation, a physical print is a tangible object, a piece of history you can hold in your hand. Its power lies not just in the image it displays, but in its very existence as a physical artefact.

Celebrating International Women’s Day.

As a member of The Association of Photographers I have been inspired to feature behind-the-scenes photographs of myself at work and the resulting photographs.
