Remember that famous pelican that escaped the zoo and flew to FRANCE?!

Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary in Hayle has just welcomed another fluffy white Caribbean flamingo chick, it's sibling! They are only the third ever to hatch at the park.

The newborn is currently being raised by both parents on their mud nest within the park's flamingo lagoon.

In the late 18th century, Polperro became a notorious smuggling centre. In the late 1700s and early 1800s, an educated outsider named Zephaniah Job managed the finances for Polperro's illicit networks. His surviving ledgers form the basis of the artifacts you can view at the Polperro Museum.
