If you go out on the moors today, your sure of a big suprise.
Thats right you will come across The Cheesewring! Searching through the miles and miles of Bodmin moor lies this beauty, located roughly 1 mile from a small village called Minions.
The view as you can see in the clip is aboslutely outstanding in all directions.

According to research its a natural formation by weathering.

Or is it...

A Legend?
Giants?
A miracle?

Stepping back in time at Carmears Wheelpit
Built in 1841 by Joseph Treffry, originally to contain a water wheel worked by winding machinery. After construction of the Cornwall Minirals Railway through the Valley in the 1870's the Inclined Plane was no longer needed. The water wheel was removed in 1940 and recycled to provide metal during the second World War. The now abandoned historal site has been left for mother nature to reclaim while giving visiors/ walkers a glimps into mining history with newly placed information boards. More information can be found on the Cornish Mining Heritage Site. This is a lovley walk with lots to explore, you can do the full walk to Ponts Mill or just a short walk around Luxulyan Valley.

*APPROACH WITH CAUTION*
Butterhole Beach near Padstow, no idea on how to get down to this beach, only way I could see was by boat.
Such a beautiful coastal walk.
We parked the car in Lellizzick, strolled past Hawkers Cove whilst enjoying the view. Our original plan was to walk to Steppa Point and do some drone footage, but it was way too windy, although the wife got some great pictures. We carried on with our walk not knowing where we were heading or what we were going to see, stumbled apon this, it fasinated me seeing all the colours in the in the cliff, I couldnt believe that it was a shear drop one side with no fencing. Very dangerous, please be extra cautious!

There’s just something about this picture that I just love 😅

Who loves a place with great views? I know I do!
Down in Falmouth you will find Pendennis Castle, along with Pendennis Point.
Also home to many beaches with golden sand and crystal clear water, grab an ice cream in one of the many carparks nearby. Sit, watch and listen to to the waves crashing against the rocks, birds chirping, and family’s chatting away, enjoying life and the view of course!

Day trip to Falmouth the other day, and we had spotted this cruise ship, so found ourselves a place to park at Pendennis Point, I had to fly over and check it out, did not disappoint, what a beauty.

A bit late to the party, but here we have all the people awaiting the Eclipse. Best high spots to watch this amazing event. Did I catch you up there?
