We consider weddings and civil ceremonies as a privilege to have the responsibility and the trust of our clients to take photographs of people on their very special day. At Velvet Storm Photography we believe wedding photography to be a wonderful, creative opportunity that is always full of amazing surprises and beautiful pictures. We don’t want the wedding photographs to be a laborious, drawn out exercise that impedes on your day, but rather that we blend into the background to become as unobtrusive as possible to ensure that we capture as much as we can in a natural, relaxed setting that highlights the uniqueness and special aspects of your day. We are confident that when you have booked with us you will find that we will spend time to chat to you in an informal and relaxed setting about your day, to get to know you and build a solid working relationship that means that you are able to feel relaxed with us around on the day, and that we are able to meet any particular requirements and exchange ideas on photographic themes, details, colours and specific images you want us to capture. An important part of this ‘getting to know you’ process will include an optional *pre-wedding shoot and so that both of you with have the opportunity to work with us on creating some beautiful portraits of yourselves, as well as allowing you to feel as confident and comfortable in front of the camera as possible, whilst having fun and allowing us to get your personal input into how we will work on the big day.
