Creative Capture Photography

Creative Capture Photography Photographer and Creative Artist with a passion for Landscape Photography based in The Lake District

Welcome to Creative Capture Images Photography

Creative Capture Images Photography is a Photography business located in the Lake District

It all started back in 1985 when I first visited the beautiful Lake District with my family and took my first Landscape photograph using a 35mm SLR camera. My passion for photography was ignited further with the evolution of the DSLR and my main areas of focus

are Landscape, Seascape, Cityscape and Architecture. I have also worked in Portrait, Nature, Wildlife and Macro Photography. To be honest I take pleasure in all aspects of Photography and find myself constantly learning. I've been journeying around the country visiting many wonderful locations from the South Coast to the Northern Fells of the Lake District and love the Lake District so much I decided to pack up my belongings and take up permanent residence in the Lake District, where I spend a lot of time walking and photographing the wonderful Landscapes that are now on my doorstep. I have also been fortunate enough to have won various awards at local exhibitions for my work. All of my work can be purchased in various formats from my Gallery pages. Please feel free to take a look around and contact me directly should you require any further information, this can be done via my Contact page.

This is the second of my images from our quick visit to Scotland. This was taken at Milarrochy Bay where there is a popular lone tree that people gravitate too, the tree was a little busy for me so I avoided it and opted for these rocks as an actor point and leading line in to the snowy mountains in the distance. It was a very windy day so I decided to opt for a longer exposure to soften the water of Loch Lomond

We decided to take a drive in to Scotland to see what snow was still around, with the forecast of rain we were not hopeful and heading to the Highlands on this occasion was not an option as we had left it late in the day to set off. Better planning required for next time. We did stop at a couple of locations around Loch Lomond. The first of which was the Loup of Fintry, a cracking waterfall, which I imagine is normally raging when not frozen. However, I made the best of the opportunity under the somewhat precarious icy conditions. Please feel free to let me know your thoughts.
