Evening all!! SURFBOARDS ARE HERE!
After an amazing first summer in the gallery, I'm proud to announce the arrival of some new surfboards, I call them Art Surfboards. I chose a couple of my all time best sellers and personal faves, Rush Hour and Atmospheric Newlyn. We are the only gallery in the uk to do these, especially to such a high spec, which I'm particularly proud of after a lot of fine tuning.
This time I've teamed up with Hugh from Bos Surfboards, a local surfboard shaper from Penzance. Hand crafted and glassed here in Cornwall, I'm glad to have these truly locally made. They are now in the gallery to see. If you're a collector of art and want something truly unique, I believe these are particularly special. Orders welcome.
Hope you like them as much as the Walls of Water team!

Evening all, I got my laptop back!
It's crazy how reliant we are on these things...
But I also had all my photography, emails, Lightroom, etc. Pretty much useless without it! Should probably back it up more often!
Anyhow, after a bit of a wait, I have 3 new surfboards arriving at the gallery in the next couple of days. One of which is a custom order, which I'm very excited about, as it's heading off to Maidstone to the new owner, who chose this image below for his custom 6ft printed surfboard. I will do a reveal for you all, once they are at the gallery after a bit of a shuffle around. I need to find a spare wall for 3 6ft surfboards! Wish me luck! And if you'd like to know more about these incredible surfboards pop in and have a chat.🙂

Evening all. NEW CARDS!!
My laptop is broken, so it’s been quiet on here I know. Should be back tomorrow!
I have had a lot of requests( nearly everyday) at the gallery, for different new cards. So you have spoken, and again I’ve added 3 new images! Which takes the total to about 30 greeting card designs now!
Shown below. Hope they’re to your liking, and also as soon as my laptop is back I will add them to the website for my online friends!

Evening all!
I went out last night, to see what I could capture. It didn't really go to plan, I'd set my lens focal length longer than I'd planned, which is a shame, as the sky was incredible, with snazzy oranges and reds in streaks. Once the camera is in the water housing however there's no changing the lens! I did capture a piece of the sky though, and decided to go for some abstract shots. These were the only 2 shots from 90 mins of shooting that I thought were worth a post. I guess they're quite cool and unusual. Just to show that its not always easy sailing, and takes a lot of time and effort this photography! It was nice to get out though.

Hi all,
Anyone see the ominous clouds around 4-5pm today? Cumulous nimbus perhaps? I was at Rinsey at the time, and took a quick snapshot. Lost my photography mojo at the moment. This happens occasionally... Sure it'll be back soon.

Happy World Photography Day. I took a few today (at Helston boating lake). Imagine no photographs and videos. We would just rely purely on memory and maybe a diary. If you don't have a photo of it , did it really happen😆. There would be a lot more exaggerating and story telling that's for sure! Which actually would be cool too. Anyway, glad we have photography!!

Evening everyone. I like to do a review of the last few weeks every now and again, I had a great few weeks so it was hard to choose my own favourites. These are the ones I went with... A couple I have rented for the gallery. I hope you like them! I've been away for a week, but I will jump back on the hamster Facebook algorithm wheel soon, for more disappoint 🤣. Evening all. Hope everyone managed to see the eclipse without damaging your eyes! I was in Germany last night, at some random old town. I had one lens with me, really completely unprepared, but I stooped down to f32 1/8000 sec and hoped I could catch something (taking care not to point directly at the sun for more than 1/4 second. Pretty much just panned the camera past , without allowing any 'solar burn' on the old camera sensor. Think I got away with it. Yes, I could have done with a solar filter, yes I could have done with my 500mm lens. But I just enjoyed the moment, with the odd shot fired off as creative as my equipment and preparation allowed... I've seen some mind blowing shots from around the world that must have been weeks of preparation with the best equipment for the job, glad we had clear skies!!
