It’s been a while since I captured oor hairy coo’s so here’s one I took from Loch Coulin. The mighty Beinn Eighe in the background. Torridon never disappoints and this low level circular walk around Loch Clair and Coulin is a great loop.

Jalovec, the King of The Julian Alps.

Apparently, Triglav is the Queen but this takes King status and you can see why. It’s a real beast of a mountain and I love the contrast of dark and light here, with the sun catching the ridge to its summit. Maybe I’ll be back to climb it in the future…

It’s back to the day job tomorrow after an unforgettable week exploring the mountains of Slovenia.

Lake Jasna quickly became my favourite place to unwind—the perfect spot for a refreshing cold dip after a long day in the mountains.

Later that evening, I stepped onto my hotel balcony and noticed the stars putting on a show. With the Milky Way clearly visible, I grabbed my camera and headed straight down to the lake. A little cloud lingered above Prisojnik, but there was still more than enough clear sky to capture the magic of the night.
