READY TO TAKE BETTER PHOTOS WITH THE PHONE YOU ALREADY HAVE?

Join me at the beautiful Kings of Kinloch in Perthshire on Wednesday 10th June for a hands-on Phone Photography Workshop designed to help you feel more confident capturing beautiful photos and creating content for your business, social media or simply for yourself.

Whether you're a complete beginner or you've had your phone for years and know you're not getting the most from it, this workshop is full of practical tips that you can start using straight away.

During the workshop you'll learn:
- What settings to use, where to find them and how to use them
- Simple composition techniques that make a huge difference
- How to use light to your advantage
- Tips for photographing products, people and everyday moments
- Easy editing techniques using your phone

It is a practical hands on workshop, you'll leave with skills you can put into practice immediately.

WHAT IS A PHONE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP & WHAT WILL I LEARN?

1. SETTINGS – how to access all the hidden settings, how and when to use them to unlock the full potential of your smartphone camera

2. MASTER COMPOSITION – learn what to include (or not include) in your shots, discover composition techniques to improve your photography

3. PAINTING WITH LIGHT – light will make or break your images. I’ll show you how to find the best light AND use natural and artificial light effectively. Understanding light is the number one key to great photography.

4. EDITING – Should you edit your photos? Which apps should you use? I cover it all n the workshops with step by step tutorials and expert support and guidance.

By the end of the workshop. You’ll have the skills, confidence and techniques to capture incredible photos with just your phone.

Wednesday 10th June – Kings of Kinloch, Meigle, Perthshire. A beautiful new luxury venue with amazing natural light, an inspirational place to master phone photography. Limited spaces remaining.

EXPECTATIONS V REALITY

I thought most of my January would have been spent solo sitting in front of a computer screen, but how wrong was I!

It’s been a great month filled with so many connections, meeting loads of new people through workshops, attending events ( cook school & Reignite) and supporting other businesses through one to one sessions and mentoring. Social media is great but you can’t beat face to face interactions. I also managed to squeeze in some baking with my niece & nephew which was suitably messy!

You will notice from the reel that I’ve been roped into a few tasks on the farm as well. We’ve had our first lambs of the year and have also scanned over 700 ewes who are due in March. Variety definitely is the spice of life!

We’ve almost made it through January and I’m excited to see what February brings, it’s definitely going to be a solid mix of photography & farming for me 😀
