Yesterday I went to at Derby University to visit the degree photography exhibition that my sister took part in for her final year. It was a really good exhibition with lots of themes and all the students work was amazing.
All the photos here are Kira's work. Kira thought about how art and photography is sometimes not very accessible for everybody. Kira took photos and used a special stamper to add braille wording onto every photo. She wrote her introduction in print and in braille and she made a video presentation with audio and subtitles. The man in the single picture is Kira's Grandad who has poor eyesight and he is the inspiration for Kira's project.
Kira has worked very hard for 3 years and she graduates in a few weeks. I'm going to her graduation β€
