💛 Looking for a lovely way to bond with your baby and meet other local parents? 💛
We'd love to give a shout-out to our wonderful friend Anna from Babies Connect, who has a new round of baby massage classes starting this Friday.
We've known Anna for many years and she is one of the warmest, kindest and most welcoming people you could hope to meet. Her classes are about so much more than baby massage – they're a chance to spend quality time with your little one, build confidence as a parent, and connect with other families who are on the same journey.
Baby massage can help to:
✨ Encourage bonding and attachment
✨ Promote relaxation and better sleep
✨ Support digestion and help ease wind and colic symptoms
✨ Provide valuable one-to-one time with your baby
✨ Boost confidence in handling and understanding your little one
One of the things we love most about Anna's classes is the community she creates. Many parents arrive knowing nobody and leave with new friendships, coffee dates and a support network that continues long after the classes finish. ☕❤️
If you're interested in joining the next course, send Anna a text on 07951 016776 and she'll be happy to tell you more.
We can't recommend her highly enough. 🥰
In infant massage, interaction is not something added to the relationship—it is the relationship itself taking shape in a specific context.
The baby does not passively receive the massage: they participate, interrupt, adjust, observe. Even silence or withdrawal are forms of communication.
The adult, in turn, is not “performing” a gesture, but entering a dialogue made of body signals, timing, and continuous adjustments.
Within this exchange, a particular quality of mutual presence can emerge. It is not linear, not always smooth, and does not follow a single pattern.
These moments can become a space where parents experience a different way of listening to their baby—less driven by the idea of “doing it right,” and more by observing what happens between them.
