HEADS UP FOR NOCTILUCENT CLOUDS AGAIN

22:15 - Noctilucent clouds are visible over in mainland Europe right now. Reports are coming in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium etc

If you are treated to clear skies or gaps, it is worth checking to the Northern horizon around an hour or two after your local sunset time. The full moon will also be a beautiful sight to witness of course.

Sadly most of the UK is covered in clouds, so we are going to try and catch up on some rest. But for those of you treated to gaps or outside of the UK it's worth a look. :)

It looks like many of you were treated to your very first Noctilucent Clouds display last night/this morning and we've had some of you write in to thank us and say you wouldn't have seen it if it wasn't for our posts.

We are so pleased we were able to help so many of you witness such an incredible display and many of you for the first time too.

This is exactly why we do what we do, to share our love and passion for the night sky and help as many people as possible to witness the wonders of the cosmos.

Thank you everybody who has shared your wonderful photographs, timelapses and stories with us and for your lovely kind words too. You're all stars!

REMINDER ABOUT THE FULL STRAWBERRY MOON TONIGHT FOLKS. WISHING YOU GOOD LUCK AND CLEAR SKIES, OR ATLEAST SOME GAPS! 💖🌕🙈🤞

Eyes to the skies for the full strawberry Moon tonight folks! Rising around 22:00 here in North Yorkshire (check your local moonrise time as times differ) towards the South South East! 👀

Nooooo! 😭 It looks like most of the UK is clouded out with minimal gaps!

Sadly this meme seems to nearly always stand true! 😂 However, never say never! We often find ourselves fully clouded out during astronomical events, with a dire weather forecast. But sometimes the forecast is wrong and we are treated to gaps. So fingers crossed!

If we all collectively blow the cloud in a certain direction at the same time... 😂

Don't worry if you miss the full moon tonight, the moon will appear full tomorrow too and we always have next month! 😀
