Plymouth Argyle FC's league one status was out of their own hands.
They needed a home win against Scunthorpe and for other results to go their way.

The atmosphere pre match was one of excitement, nerves and Plymouth pride.
Supporting their team the best they could even though they faced relegation.

A sold out match, fans of both sexes and all ages came to Home Park to support their club. Fans in fine voice and colour. Filled with hope if not confidence that their team could navigate their way to safety over ninety minutes with the help of other results.
