We specialise in Relaxed, Modern Fine Art photography, focusing on natural, candid moments in a reportage/documentary style, along with traditional group shots and romantic couples shots. A few weeks ago we had the absolute pleasure of shooting our first wedding at Tawstock Court for Kirsty & Connor. What an incredible day with such an amazing couple, family and guests, topped off by fantastic staff and outstanding food! We couldn’t have asked for a better day.

Pete has been a professional photographer for almost 15 years and has photographed more than 350 weddings.

We’re starting small beginner photography workshops in Plymouth with Pete.

The idea is simple: a relaxed, hands-on session where I help people understand their camera and start taking better photos.

We’ll be shooting in Plymbridge Woods in a small group so everyone gets individual guidance.

During the workshop we’ll cover things like:

• Understanding aperture, shutter speed and ISO
• The anatomy of your camera and how to set it up properly
• Camera modes and when to use them
• Focus modes and focus areas (and how to get sharp images)
• Image formats (RAW vs JPEG) and what to choose
• How to control background blur
• How to freeze motion or create motion blur
• Simple composition techniques
• Recommended camera settings for different types of photography

Everyone who attends will also receive a printed 48-page beginner photography guide to take home so you can refer back to everything we cover after the workshop.
