You may have noticed I’ve been quiet on social media for quite a few months now and I just wanted to provide a little life update. After four amazing years behind the camera, I’ll be taking a step back from photography as we have welcomed our first child into the world!
Some of you may know that I also work full time and JLH Photography was only ever meant to be a “side hustle” however it grew into so much more than I could have ever dreamed of! This new chapter is so exciting for us and I want to spend some precious time with my family while our son is little - which is why I’ve made the difficult decision to hang up my camera for a while.
Reflecting on the past few years, I feel so grateful for the journey. I’ve learned, grown, and captured moments that will stay with me forever. From shooting at stunning venues I could only have dreamt of, to the unreal experience of photographing Featherstone Rovers at Wembley earlier this year, it has been more than I could have ever imagined!
Thank you to every single person who trusted me with their special moments, I’ll be forever grateful to you for choosing and supporting my small business.
I’m not saying goodbye completely, but for now, I’m pressing pause to focus on our next adventure.
Welcome to the world, Louie James Harper 📸💙
Our amazing newborn photos used on this post were captured by the amazing Stacey at and we would highly recommend if you’re looking for a family / wedding photographer.
