They say being too friendly with your clients is unprofessional... I guess that's why I always say I'm professionally unprofessional. 😅🤣

Honestly? Some of my couples become friends, and catching up over a drink after the wedding is one of my favourite parts. 🥂🥰

When you're choosing your wedding photographer, don't just look at the photos... look at the person behind the camera too.

Find yourself someone who:

🤍 Keeps you calm when the morning gets a little chaotic.
🤍 Isn't afraid to jump in and help button dresses, pin buttonholes or keep everyone on schedule.
🤍 Makes you both feel completely comfortable being yourselves. (afterall, I will basically be a professional third wheel! 😂).

🤍 Has a suitcase full of emergency supplies (plasters, sewing kit, mints, hair grips, lady products... if you need it, there's a good chance I've got it! 🤣).

If you're pregnant, pop me a message with your due date to get you booked in. I do leave a window of appointments open so I that know I can make time for you as I know babies don't always come when expected!

I also offer maternity shoots, capturing you and your bump in all of your blooming glory before baby is born! This can be as a separate booking, or I now have a Bump to Baby package, combining your shoots into one album and saving you money in the process.

✨️ 1 year of the Studio ✨️

1 whole year today I opened my studio!
It was always a dream to have my own studio and now my husband and you amazing people have made that possible and I can't thank you all enough!! 🥰

There have been some improvements made over the last year, a growth in wardrobe options, props and backdrops as well my new products that I'm so excited about too.

Polite reminder to anyone that's had their choosing galleries and not yet selected your included photos or purchased more. Please can you do this by Wednesday this week (15th July) to allow me time to get what I can done before the school holiday starts.

Please remember that I am the primary care giver for our tiny humans as well as working mum and businessowner, meaning wait times on editing will be longer over the next 6 weeks while I'm WFH with the kiddos around.

I'd also love to get more of this in with my own family before the madness of August begins 🙈

Okay look, I've lasted this long but I'm officially beat by the heat 🤣🤣

I'm pleased to say I'm nearly up to date on my current editing workload, and hoping to be able to take some time for myself and my family over the next couple of weeks as my wedding season truly kicks off in August.

So, while I'm in my last push to get things done so I can actually rest and enjoy the sunshine, I will see if dancing helps those last 2 brain cells fire up. Feel free to comment your favorite songs to add to my Playlist!!!

What. A. Morning!!!

I had the BEST time laughing, singing and dancing with Lacey in the studio!! And hopefully you all enjoyed the tunes and stories too 🥰

I couldn't not end with mine and my husband's song. I literally wouldn't be where I am or have the family I have without him. Love you Mike 👊❤️

✨️ＪＵＬＹ ✨️

This month I'm happily quieter on weddings, meaning I'll be spending the month on editing, admin and consultations.

August weddings, I'll be in touch soon to organize your final meeting as I'm also GOING AWAY at the end of the month!

I'm very excited to be going at the end of the month to a festival with my friends. Leaving behind all responsibilities and seriousness (what I do have) and just enjoying the Viking life ⚒️🍻🥰

So I'll be trying to get everyone in for their meetings before then ❤️
