Here are two more from the other night, Murlough bay was a gold mine for compositions and with the lack of people made it a joy, plus the added benefit of Mother Nature going off its head for the whole evening.

So what can one say about last night that's not already being said. A phenomenal night out under the night sky. Last night was about fishing, for those that fish you are never certain you will bring anything home, well shooting the Aurora is the same thing , your never sure it will produce the goods. With plenty low level cloud about and a touch of rain it was even more uncertain if we would have clear skys. With the predicted levels last night it was just a case of you need to put yourself in a position to produce the goods if they were given and boy were they given. I headed out at 21:30 stopped at Whitepark bay, to first check if anything was happening before heading to Murlough Bay, when I'd seen what was on camera it was enough motivation to drive all the way there. I spent the whole night there and finally left at 05:00 to head home.

So onto this image, it's hard to describe it, other than saying I felt like I was under an umbrella of light. What is difficult to convey in the image is the light you see there was 360deg around me, the most incredible night out under the stars.
