Entwistle Reservoir near Darwen.

I saw that there was an early morning mist on that day.
Entwistle Reservoir is not far from home and I went out just before dawn to catch the mist before the sun burnt it of. As I was passing the forest I could see the sun breaking through the trees and the light splattering through the mist.
I took about 50 pictures and this was my favourite.
Beautiful light produced one of my personal favourite images.

Crummock Water

The photo was taken around sunset golden hour. I mainly focused on the lake itself, had a great hike around just to discover a new area. I messed up with my expectations with the sunset but luckily I had my drone with me, so I gave it a chance. Surprisingly the surrounding area had more interest than the lake itself. Another lesson learned. Even if you are a camera and tripod person, the subject can be change even in the last second if the light comditions are better elswhere, and having a drone is beneficial, even if not used to take breath taking video footage, or the drone is not an extreme high end professional drone. The drone I used here was a DJI Flip

Blackpool Road, Preston, Lancashire.

For a couple of weeks each year the road comes alive with colour, the problem lies with capturing the right time. Although it was very windy that morning i just had to go and try my best in the conditions. The image was taken at first light because it is a very busy road and i didn`t want to many cars in the scene. Shot on a Fujifilm GFX 50Sii with the 35-70mm lens, set at 70mm, F16 and a 6.5 second exposure.

Duxbury Woods, Chorley.

Duxbury woods is one of my favourite places to shoot whatever the season and conditions, there always seems to be something to capture. The roots in this image is what drew me to the shot, all exposed due to the bank erosion, i think it looks like Medusa. Shot on a Fuji GFX 50Sii 35-70mm at 40mm and 2 sec exposure.
