Blackpool Road, Preston, Lancashire.

For a couple of weeks each year the road comes alive with colour, the problem lies with capturing the right time. Although it was very windy that morning i just had to go and try my best in the conditions. The image was taken at first light because it is a very busy road and i didn`t want to many cars in the scene. Shot on a Fujifilm GFX 50Sii with the 35-70mm lens, set at 70mm, F16 and a 6.5 second exposure.

Duxbury Woods, Chorley.

Duxbury woods is one of my favourite places to shoot whatever the season and conditions, there always seems to be something to capture. The roots in this image is what drew me to the shot, all exposed due to the bank erosion, i think it looks like Medusa. Shot on a Fuji GFX 50Sii 35-70mm at 40mm and 2 sec exposure.

Brickcroft Nature Reserve Longton

Brickcroft Nature Reserve, Longton is one of my favourite places for an evening walk. Always plenty of bird life to see and photograph. Just happened to be in the right place at the right time when this inquisitive little robin came along.

The Lancaster canal, running through Preston.

I am new to photography, bought a Canon 2000D in August 2025. I go out most days with my camera for photo walks & just try & put into practice what I'm learning.
I'm lucky to live near some lovely canal walks & whilst out caught these beautiful swans playing follow my leader. This was taken at 15:25 on 16th November 2025. Settings where 50mm lens, F5, 1/250s iso 600. It was taken quickly to not miss the moment. I'm just trying all different types of photography & finding where my interests lie.
Thank you for your appreciation of my photo it means a lot.
