Lake District Tarns are small bodies of water that aren't big enough to be named as Lakes. Not sure what the lake size needs to be but even though Tarns are a lot smaller they are just as beautiful and photogenic. I suppose they are similar to the Scotland way to name the smaller Lochs as Lochans. The names in order as they appear are :- Blea, Tewet, Tarn How's, Scales, Yew Tree, Kelly Hall, Innominate and Alcock. Fell free to share.
