Weโve tried for years to say it in a softer way - and we all know it but sometimes need a reminder.
Last weekend a session was cancelled. It was for a very sick dog that had been given 3 months to live (11 months ago).
The session was fitted in at our earliest availability, after the client reached out to us, for 4pm on Sunday because I knew how much I wanted to be able to create these memories for the owner.
However, I was devastated to receive a call at midday on Sunday to say โWeโre too lateโ. I was just so disappointed to not be able to provide something for the family to hold on to.
In contrast, I received this wonderful message yesterday:

I just wanted to send you a little message because today is Rosieโs Rainbow Day. ๐๐พ
I cannot quite believe it has been a whole year since she crossed the bridge.
I have found myself walking around the house today looking at all the beautiful photos you took of her. As you know, they are everywhere in the house, and today they have been such a comfort.
Every time I look at them I can see those big soulful eyes, her cheeky little expressions and that gorgeous stubborn personality shining straight back at me. You always captured her in such a unique way.
It just made me realise all over again just how precious those photographs are and how incredibly thankful I am that we had them done when we did ..especially the second session with us all.
They are helping carry me through today in a way I cannot really put into words.
I just wanted to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart for giving us something so special that we will treasure forever.
