While we patiently wait for this beautiful family’s newest arrival, I thought I’d share a few favourites from Jodi’s maternity session. 🤍

Jodi first came to see me during her first pregnancy, so it was such a pleasure to welcome her back for baby number two. Even more special, this time big brother got to be part of the experience too!

One of the lovely things about maternity sessions is that they’re completely tailored to you. Whether you’d like a session that’s just about celebrating your pregnancy, or you’d like to include your partner and children, it’s entirely your choice. So… this post is slightly overdue! 😂

I’ve actually been saving it for a reason, because this week we’ve got Thea’s big sister, Lily, with us for her work experience. It seemed like the perfect time to finally share little Thea’s gorgeous newborn session while Lily helps us with our social media!

Introducing beautiful little Thea, who came to see me with her big brother and big sister back at Easter. Yes… Easter! That’s how far behind I am with posting at the moment. 😳 I promise it wasn’t Lily’s fault… unless it was! 😉

As you can see, Thea was absolutely delicious to photograph. I’ve had quite a few requests for yellow recently, and I have to say, I’m completely in love with it. It suits newborns so beautifully.

I also finally got to use my gorgeous new floral backdrop, and I think it’s safe to say I’m obsessed! A huge burst of flowers, a beautiful big tutu, and the sweetest little baby… what more could I ask for?

Happy Saturday everyone! ☀️

Just a quick reminder that we’re not in the studio today, but we’ll be back from 11am tomorrow (Sunday 12th July).

If you’ve got artwork, prints or products waiting to be collected and you’re around tomorrow, we’d love to see you. 😊 Our opening times are pinned at the top of both our Facebook and Instagram pages.

I also wanted to say a huge thank you.

This has genuinely been one of our busiest weeks ever! We’ve had so many gorgeous new babies arrive (I wasn’t joking about the baby boom! 😂), and it’s been such a privilege meeting so many new families.

Because of that, July is now almost fully booked, with just three newborn session spaces remaining.

You may remember gorgeous Kassidy and her lovely family from a couple of weeks ago when they came in for their newborn session.

Well… they were back! This time everyone came into the studio for a quick family mini session to complete their photographs.

Alongside all of these gorgeous family images (and honestly, aren’t the boys just adorable?), I had an idea that I really wanted to try.

Every now and then I get something stuck in my head that I simply have to experiment with, and this time it was creating individual silhouette portraits of every member of the family.

The idea is that each silhouette stands beautifully on its own, capturing that person’s unique personality, but when they’re displayed together they become a timeless piece of family artwork. Almost like a little time capsule of your family exactly as they are today.

I’m still working on exactly how I’m going to present them because I’ve been looking at some exciting new products for the studio, and I think these could look absolutely incredible. I can’t wait to show you what I’ve got planned!

For now though, enjoy these five silhouette portraits, along with some beautiful family photographs that I’m sure you’ll agree are pretty special.

Although every newborn session includes family photographs as standard, we’re also more than happy to photograph families on their own whenever you’d like to update those all-important memories.
