The kind of day where everyone keeps their hands firmly in their coat pockets… but the light makes it feel like spring might not be too far away.

Pregnancy is a bit like that.

A strange in-between.
Not quite the beginning, not quite the end.

There’s a lot of waiting in this stage.
And a lot of wondering who you’re about to meet.

Mostly though, there’s just this quiet awareness that life is about to change completely, and very soon ❤️

Honestly, I’ve been watching the weather all of January like it’s a competitive sport.

It’s been so wet.

But we found a dry hour. Soft grey light and a bit of sun trying to poke through.

I photographed Rosie during her first pregnancy. This time she told me the scan came with a bit of a surprise… twins.

She looked amazing and not fazed in the slightest.

Her little girl was brilliant. And just as I was leaving she asked if I was coming to lunch with them for her dad’s birthday.

Which, honestly, felt like quite the honour.

I really love maternity photography in winter. No big golden sunset. Just trees, texture, and whatever the sky decides to give us.

As 2025 comes to a close, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to every family who welcomed me in and trusted me to capture their photos this year. I’ve loved meeting you all, catching up with familiar faces, and photographing so many different stages of family life along the way.

I’ll be taking a break over Christmas and will be back on 8th January. Wishing you all a lovely Christmas and a happy New Year 🤍

Big sister was on leaf throwing duty, baby brother was on observer duty and autumn turned up in full colour even under a grey sky 🍂 Honestly, six months is such a lovely age, super squishy, curious and forever entertained by an older sibling who never, ever stops moving.

I’m fully booked for the rest of the year, but I’m now taking 2026 bookings and I’ve got Christmas gift vouchers if you want to give someone photos they’ll treasure ✨

Tiny toes and two people who treasure memories as much as I do 🧡 Their home was filled with photo albums… adventures in Japan, a 365 project with a photo every single day, and now, a space waiting at the back of their wedding album for these newborn photos. It was so lovely to see. And yes, if your scroll to the end there’s a BTS shot of me balancing on their bed trying to get the shot 😬

The last day of summer already feels like a distant memory. It started grey and heavy with cloud, but just as the sun began to slip away, it broke through in the most magical way.

I’ve photographed this gorgeous family every year since the twins were tiny. I love catching up, hearing their stories, and watching their personalities grow. Their mum is famous (in my book) for chasing the sunset and this time she literally leapt off a wall to get into the best light. Worth it, I’d say!

These in-between moments are what I love most. The ones that feel like the end of something and the start of something else.

My weekend autumn family shoots are now fully booked, but I still have a few midweek sessions left if you’d love to capture your own golden hour magic.

It one of those wet, miserable days today. The kind where the light feels heavy and everything is just very soggy (especially after the school run). Days like this remind me why I love doing shoots at home.

For newborns and little ones, being at home means everything you need is right there, and it gives photos such an easy, natural feel. This little girl was 3 months old, a gorgeous age where there’s lots of smiles and their personality starts to shine through.

First baby, first home, first memories captured 🩷

Hair in a top knot, toy pig in hand, and a brother chasing him into the sunset with a shark.

It was all a bit wild and a bit brilliant, just the kind of chaos you’d hope for at golden hour. The kind that makes the best kind of photos.

Went to check out a location for an upcoming shoot… and left with a gallery of images I wasn’t expecting 😂

My daughter and the lovely farm owner ended up in front of the camera and, honestly, it looks like the dreamiest mother–daughter session. Except I’m the one behind the camera.

Might have to face swap myself in and frame one for the wall anyway.

Catching up after the chaos of May half term and thought we could all do with a bit of sunshine on a day like this.

This session was one of those warm, sunny evenings where everything just felt easy. Two soon-to-be parents, a dog who wanted in on every shot, and that quiet excitement of knowing life’s about to change.

Some babies arrive after a long wait.
And when they do, the quiet moments feel even more meaningful.

This session was a gift from close friends and it felt just that, a gift. A morning at home, soaking in all the newness, the calm, the love. No rush, no fuss. Just a little family settling into their new rhythm.

Scroll through to see a few favourites from our time together.
