As a photographer, I was especially drawn to the quiet details of his creative world: the light, the canvases, the palette, the everyday objects and the small moments in between.

The more closely you look and the more you photograph, the more emotionally connected you become to your subject. You begin to understand its essence -and, perhaps, to share something of its soul with others.
