📷 I had two years to wait to photograph this beautiful wedding at Old Wardour Castle after meeting the Bride and Groom at a wedding fair!
💕 The romantic rustic historic setting was stunning and also had a lake nearby which I loved.
🎞 The Bride walked up the aisle to a love song from a movie that was filmed at the castle.
👉 Clue: The song was number one in the UK for 16 weeks back in 1991! 🌲🏹
👨‍👧‍👧 Close family and friends were in attendance for the ceremony and wedding breakfast at the nearby pub.
⛳️ An evening reception was held the following evening in Wokingham at Sand Martins Golf Club.
🥂 Happy Anniversary to the lovely couple celebrating next week.

📷 Wedding couples, do you know when the most natural photos are taken?
🍷 1. Before dinner is service
🍮 2. In between courses
🔄 3. During the room turnaround
🚶‍♀️ This is the moment when guests are not expecting a photographer to be wandering around and think they are safe! 
🤭 If they do notice me, they often say to the person sat next to them, "we need to look at each other and laugh as if we are unaware the photographer is there"!
🍽 After photographing the food arriving on the top table, I leave the function room and take my own break so as not to photograph anyone eating.
👨‍👧‍👧 During the room turnaround time between the wedding breakfast and the evening entertainment I'm still wandering around looking for candid moments, identifying the new guests who have arrived for the evening.

❤️ For a bold vibrant colour scheme, shades of red are chosen all year round but particularly popular in the autumn and winter for a seasonal rustic and festive look respectively.
🖤 I particularly love how red goes perfectly as an accent colour to black or to match military uniform.

🍂 A look back at a memorable autumn wedding at The Manor Hotel in Datchet.
👰‍♂️ Preparations began in the cottage next door, where there was plenty of space for getting ready and photos.
🎉 After a beautiful ceremony by the Royal Borough Registrars, everyone gathered on Datchet village green for the group photos and confetti.
⚓ With the hotel having limited outdoor space, we all took a wander down to the Thames for a picturesque backdrop to the group and couple photos.
📷 A lot of fun was had by all, and no one ended up in the river!
🎤 After dinner, there was a game of Mr and Mrs during the speeches, which prompted great reactions from the guests.
🍰 The laughter continued in the relaxed atmosphere as the couple cut their cake and took to the dance floor.
✨ To go with the autumn red theme, the groomsmen all wore Star Wars socks, and there was a Death Star 'Groom's Cake'.
🥂 Happy Anniversary to the lovely couple celebrating next week.

💌 3 helpful things to include on your invitations...

🕑 1. All wedding invitations generally include the ceremony time. However, consider adding a start and end time too. Guests will know what time to arrive for ready for the ceremony, which is often 30 minutes before. Having the last orders at the bar or last dance time included will mean they can plan ahead for booking any taxis or babysitters.

🍽 2. I hear many couples wondering if they are providing enough food for guests during the drinks reception, whether it's canapes or snacks. This will depend on when your ceremony and wedding breakfast times fall during the day plus every individual's lifestyle. Consider adding estimated dinner time on your invitations. Knowing when they'll be eating will allow guests to decide how much breakfast or lunch to have!

🍰 3. Evening guests are always given an arrive from time for the evening reception with many opting to be fashionably late! Add on a time for when you plan to cut your cake so that they arrive promptly for then. Not having to wait around for your First Dance will mean you get the last formality over and done with to relax for the remainder of the evening.

🍂 September is here, marking the official start of the autumn wedding season.

📷 The leaves will start to change as we go through the month, providing a gorgeous backdrop for photographs.
