Yesterday's shoot went wonderfully! Not only was I directing, but I was acting in it too! Massive thanks to our crew who helped get this made, full of advice and creativity enabling Giacomo & I to get our vision on camera. Now on to editing, can't wait to put it all together!

Super excited to say I’ll be accepting my place on the MA in Film & TV with Falmouth University! Was given an unconditional offer this week based on my previous work (I don’t have a degree!) and I’m absolutely stoked! It’s a great looking course, and as it’s part-time over 2 years it means I can fit it in with my regular 9-5 work (and additional work). I look forward to creating some new and exciting things over the next couple of years, as well as learning with and from many new people!

Finally got my desk set up in my new flat, feels nice & cosy! Space for another monitor too! Maybe I’ll get some speakers up in here too… that’ll thrill the neighbours! Now enough of this, time to edit… and maybe a coffee! ☕️🎬🎞️💻

Time for the annual pilgrimage to Aesthetica Short Film Festival in York. We’ve seen some wonderful short films over the last couple of days, and look forward to more over the weekend, including in the thriller ‘Voices’. As always, attending masterclasses from industry pros - trailer editing advice from Silk Factory, Intermission Film, & Picture Production Company was invaluable.
