The Monkey Hut at Portreath

I’ve been trying to take a good picture of this for ages but have never seemed to get one I liked. Today I went to the beach to go sea glass hunting, I took my camera just in case and finally managed to get a photo I like

Very different from what I normally post but I got a new kitten for my birthday and thought I would take some portraits.

We picked up Pearl on Saturday under the impression that she was a girl as we were told by the breeder. After taking her to the vets today I found out she is actually a he 🤦🏻‍♀️ not sure whether to stay with the name Pearl or to change it to something more masculine?

I heard about the ship wreck at Sennen a few years ago and I’ve wanted to go and see it ever since. Today I finally ventured down there and I’m so happy I did.

It was so sunny that it was hard to see my camera screen and check if my pictures where turning out okay, so I’m very happy with they way that they have turned out. I’m getting a lot better at knowing what settings I need my camera on according to the light instead of just guessing and changing the settings until I get a clear image.

A couple of weeks ago I went on a walk around The Lizard, Kynance Cove and Cadwith. It end up being quite a stormy day but it made for some beautiful pictures. I also come across a formation in the rocks that I’ve never heard of before, called the Devils frying pan which can be seen in the last picture
