Hey Google, play "Looks Like We Made it" 🎉🎉

I've thoroughly enjoyed the challenge that I set myself this month and thank you all for coming along for the ride with me! It's forced me to look at photos in my backlog that I never gave a second chance, as well as pushing me to go out with my camera and take new ones! I'm hoping to keep up with the reasonably regular posting on here so stick around for some more photos and maybe some exciting announcements in the New Year! 👀👀

The final photo is the last in the series of my recent trip to Winster near Matlock in the Peak District National Park. I love the way the colour of the path contrasts with the vibrant oranges and yellows in the trees/plants!

Day 29 of posting a new photo every day throughout November!

Another shot of Cave Dale today, to make a nice pair of photos with the one I shared the other day. This is a very similar shot but looking from the other end of the dale in the opposite direction. I love how big the sky looks in this shot, and the way the 2 sides of the valley lead you to that lonely group of trees on the hillside!

Day 27/28 of posting a new photo every day throughout November!

Another double day, work life at the minute has got me absolutely stupidly busy and I'm struggling to find time to sit down with my laptop. Here we have another double day as I show you two of my first photos from my experiments with 'freezing water'. These are both from Gunnerside Gill in the Yorkshire Dales, a fabulous place to finish if you ever get the chance!

We're having a bit of a throw back today. I first went to Castelton a couple of years ago now, but the view of Cave Dale, with Peveril Castle peeping out above the trees is absolutely timeless! A fabulous view and definitely a spot to return to in the Spring!

Another day, another view from my visit to Winster on Sunday morning. This is one of those photos where I can't really explain what drew me to it. Something about the orange ferns, surrounding the green path, with the roots growing in such a haphazard fashion stood out to me! The autumnal colours are pretty spectacular too! 🍂

Day 24 of posting a new photo every day throughout November!

A bit of a later one today, but the first truly NEW photo of the month! This was taken yesterday as I took advantage of a Sunday morning off to go wandering from the village of Winster in the Peak District National Park. Truly autumn colours blend with a bit of wet weather truly make the colours pop in a very special way! (We don't talk about how muddy I got here! 🤦😂)

Today's is from a completely different part of the world to my usual posts! The village of Newton Poppleford, Devon peeping out from among the trees with the River Otter in the foreground. All in my favourite time of the evening: golden hour! What a delightful little village this was, especially in the soft evening light! 🌅

Today we have this... building? Cairn? I'll be honest I'm not completely sure what it is but it stuck out so much at the top of a hill in the Eryri National Park (No not that one!) that I had to take it! The sweeping hills in the background with the little patch of sunlight all add to a really nice image.

Day 20/21 of posting a new photo every day throughout November

Okay, hands up, I admit it. I missed another day! Work has been MENTAL these last couple of days and completely sapped all my energy so it's another 2 for the price of 1 day!

This time we pay a visit to Stanage Edge. I walked up here 2.5 years ago now but the pictures are absolutely timeless! The view was stunning! (There may even be a bonus photo in there too! 👀)

Day 17 of posting a new photo every day throughout November!

Back up North today! Back to a quintessential Yorkshire Dales scene. The barn that's been reclaimed by nature, the 3 way signpost, even the old piece of farm equipment that's been left outside the barn. Then add in the hills in the background and you have yourself an advert for the Dales themselves! It feels like the stars aligned for this one and I really enjoy the way it came out!
