I wasn't able to capture full effect of the in an iconic view from Silver Hill in Nidderdale, but I made some attempts to catch the full moon setting from the old quarries above Patley Bridge. It was freezing, but I enjoyed it all the same!

This year was a gate through which we all must pass; there has been no avoiding it. No shortcuts. It’s been a year of ups and downs for me, but for many it was the worst year of their lives. Personally, looking forward to 2021 it feels like there could be some sunlight on the horizon. I wish all my followers a Happy New Year and best wishes for 2021.

Our visit to NT Brimham Rocks this morning in misty weather felt like walking around a prehistoric landscape at times. With dew luminescent greens of lichen contrasted against crisp white snow and the golden glow of the sun behind the mist, I can imagine dinosaurs roaming. Perched birds on the rocks made it even feel a bit Hitchcock-esq too! Eeerie and yet beautiful.
