Duncan first picked up a camera at the age of 9 years old when his next door neighbour's dad gave him what 'he thinks' was a Pentax K1000. From that point he fell in love with ‘the camera’ and at the age of 15 years gained his first job with a Commercial Photographer in Belfast, Northern Ireland! Four hard years later, and a year in the Middle East, he decided to put the camera down - still young,

impressionable and having witnessed too many unpleasant sights and sounds through a camera lens, he was encouraged to find a ‘proper job’ so photography became a ‘hobby’ when he had the time. Some years later, following a varied career and encouragement from friends and family, photography once again became a permanent feature back in Duncan's life, taking advantage of the training and experience he had been fortunate to have received over the years. Following the birth of our two kids, which seem to be growing up far too quickly, we embarked on a new venture in 2015 and after extensive searching for a venue that we felt would provide us with the unique offering that we had been seeking, in March 2016 we opened our premises on the fabulous and inspiring Wheelbirks Estate. Now due to a new and exciting opportunity in 2020 we relocated to the North West and our now located on the Cheshire/Staffordshire border. Both having worked within commercial, marketing and customer focused environments for many years, we feel privileged to be able to utilise those experiences and bring to the region what we believe to be a truly unique offering, with the customer 'experience' very much being our focus.
