Part Two of getting my s**t together!

After a while, being a total 🥔.

It's been a bit of a mad 12 months. I've had some incredible weddings, but for the most part, I'd been planning on calling time on being a wedding photographer.

What kept driving me mad is everytime I planned to make a post to say so, I didn't do it.

I'm very much a heart on my sleeve kinda guy, the truth is, since covid, my heart and my mind have been massively conflicted. The reality is, that I recently got diagnosed with ADHD.

This has and continues to take up time whilst processing it. I actually think the turmoil of covid and cancellations just left me overwhelmingly anxious and honestly? I just wanted to hide away in a workshop and build a guitar or something.

Thing is, I do love this. Editing is s**t. I can't lie but man, this stuff feels so good. The laughs, hugs, being free to rock up at a party with a camera in my hand and have fun with it... it's beautiful.

So, with all that in mind - I've redone my website. My old logo is back out and assuming I've fixed the wierd gremlins with my contact form - I'm ready to go!

Gotta make a special shout out to James Honour. Whilst I was shooting his wedding, he heard I was thinking of jacking in, came running over and said 'Dude, what the f**k are you thinking?' 🤣

Finally have a moment to come up for air! It's been a very, very, very fast several weeks and I've felt like I've been treading water non stop but... nothing slaps a smile on my face like thinking about these two beautiful people.

James and Jenny met me at a wedding fair where I delivered the worst pitch ever. They signed up and it wasn't till I met their caravan obsessed bestman that I realised professionalism just isn't their game 🤣

Jokes aside! Fu***ng beautiful time with some beautiful people. 😍

Looking forward to finishing their gallery very soon!!

It's taken a decade of turning up at weddings, eating canapes and taking photos but I've finally had a bride with a cape and damn, it looked amazing!

This is Alexis & Ross.

They had a beautiful, informal wedding at The Greyhound on the Test - shout out to the epic staff ❤

These are quite possibly the most relaxed portraits I've ever taken and I love them for that simplicity.

Was such an awesome day and I was grateful to be there with these guys! 🤟

Mega laaaaate. My brain has been mush so, I'm blaming that but here are the beautiful Sophie & Dom!

Absolute legends.

I met them whilst shooting a wedding for another pair of legends so, bit of a result really!

Always nice walking into the church for the formalities and getting a ton of bear hugs.

I also got to play with a drone for the first time ever.

Which yes, means I now have a drone of my own. Just a baby one so I can fly it around without breaking a dozen rules..

Yesterday was epic!

Proudly introducing Nathan & Jade.

These guys had a beautiful, relaxed and chilled day on what turned out to be the honest day of the year.

Never been so grateful to have ditched my black shirts in favour of my lil' Hawaiian number!

I took a ton of photographs, drank a ton of water and had a ton of laughs!

Grateful as always to spend my time with such beautiful people.

This is a bit of a milestone moment as it's the first time I ditched my trademark black shirt for literally years in favour of something more colourful...

See, Chris here is a huge fan of the Hawaiian shirt and Kayleigh gave me the greenlight to wear one at their wedding as a lil' nod to the man.

Thing is, it suited me. Like, way more than I was prepared to admit annnnnnd I think it might be a more permanent change!

Guys, can't thank you both enough for having me. Had an absolute blast with you guys, your family & friends!

In case you didn't guess, wedding season 2022 has started!

And what a start! Bex & Will... thank you!!

I'd almost forgotten how much I enjoy this with covid giving everything a beat down over the past couple of years.

This wedding marks two sisters that I've been lucky enough to photograph... I'm eyeballing the third!

Gotta get the trilogy right?

On the subject of trilogy... anyone else pumped for Obi Wan? It is Star Wars day afterall so, I think it's OK to have a slightly geeky segue?
