Echos de Paris.
The Love Lock bridge pre 2010, The iconic pedestrian bridge directly beside the Louvre is the Pont des Arts (or Passerelle des Arts), which connects the Louvre Palace (cour carrée) to the Institut de France, showing a pair of young people putting a padlock on the the bridge. The bridge collapsed into the seine in 2015 and was rebuilt with glass walks instead of mesh.
The cathedral opposite the wooden bridge (often referring to the historic, now removed, Pont de l'Archevêché or the nearby Petit Pont area) is the Notre-Dame de Paris. This iconic Gothic cathedral is located on the Île de la Cité, and it is frequently viewed from the nearby pedestrian bridges.

After the rain, sunset on the Algarve.
Praia do Camilo
Praia do Camilo is a small, scenic beach near Lagos in Portugal’s Algarve region. Known for its striking limestone cliffs, turquoise water, and golden sand, it’s one of the most photographed beaches in southern Portugal and a popular stop for visitors exploring the Ponta da Piedade coastline.

‘Waiting’
I believe that every picture should tell a story.
A quiet side street in Paris. Is that an old Citroen is parked on this empty street. Away from the crowds. Away from the Parisian nightlife. The ancient cobblestone street lit by soft gas lighting.

Another image from my ‘Échos de Paris’ portfolio, Parisian Romance.

I always think that such street photography images should tell, or at least try to tell a story. What do you think?

A soft chill lingers in the Parisian air, the kind that turns every breath into something visible, something fleeting. Beneath a striped awning of a quiet pavement café, a young couple sits close, as though sharing warmth as much as the moment itself. Between them, a cup of coffee sends delicate curls of steam upward, and a golden croissant rests untouched, forgotten.
They don’t seem to notice the passing world, the distant hum of the city, the murmur of other conversations, the clatter of porcelain. Their eyes are locked, speaking a language far more intimate than words. A quiet smile forms on her lips; he mirrors it without thinking, as if drawn by something deeper than habit.
Time stretches here, suspended in the space between their glances. The cold no longer matters. The coffee cools. The croissant flakes gently in the breeze. And still, they remain, lost in each other, wrapped in a simple, unspoken romance that feels as timeless as the city around them.
