Rockingham Mausoleum, another Wentworth folly with a couple of Buzzards and a Parrot watching over it.
Situated in Wentworth, South Yorkshire.
Rockingham Mausoleum is a monumental structure which was built between 1783-1789, it was designed by John Carr and commissioned by the Earl William Fitzwilliam to commemorate his late uncle, Charles Watson-Wentworth, who died in 1782 whilst he was the serving Prime Minister.
The structure stands at just over 27m (90 feet in old money), made up of three tiers, mainly sandstone construction and surrounded by 4 obelisks.
