It feels like an eternity ago that these 2 booked in with me and it finally came round last weekend! I’d been PUMPED for this one since our first call and my god did they deliver!

It was one hell of a comedown travelling home the next day so how about we do it all again? 👀

❤️‍🔥 A NEW IDENTITY ❤️‍🔥

As I’m sure you are all very much aware (also not sorry for the spam) I got married recently! Yes, again, for those that already knew but that’s a whole other story.

However, what is different this time is I took the decision to take one of my new wives name. Why? Because it took a lot of courage for her to join a very established relationship and while we may not legally be able to represent our commitment to her, we can do it symbolically. So that’s what we did. One name going forward to represent the three of us.

So obviously Dan Chapman Photo is no more. A new name for me means a new business identity to move forward with, Tointon Photo. Now I can’t lie, there’s a lot more to switch over than what I first anticipated, new emails, aligning my socials, website updates etc. So what I ask is bear with me a little, because I can guarantee I’ll miss something along the way. If you’re booked in with me, nothing will change, although you may still get some documents sent over with my old name/logo. But rest assured it’s still lil’ old me behind the camera bringing out the best of you on your wedding day!

Again I want to say thank you for everyone’s love that they have shown, I’m sure there’s people that haven’t had a reply but I appreciate it so much! ❤️‍🔥

Honestly I don’t even know where to begin with this. Being trusted by two of our closest friends to capture their wedding was an absolute joy! The most stunning scenery, a party like no other, a wild swim at the same place that Tom proposed back in 2023 & even some tears shed from me behind the camera during his vows (no shame here)!

I had the most amazing time and certainly paid the price Sunday morning but I would do it all again in a heartbeat!

Wedding season’s in full flow now and this one from 2 weeks ago was a corker! All the way down on the south coast they made it more than worth the trip!

Honestly the previews from this made it a challenge to choose which to share with you because they are all STUNNING!

Thank you both again for trusting me to capture this for you, I had a blast partying the night away with you! ❤️‍🔥

And now it’s a wedding every weekend until I step on the other side of the camera on the 9th! (I promise I’m not panicking 🤣)

Late 20’s = Half-Marathon, apparently… 🏃🏻‍♂️

So I’m gonna talk about me a lil’ bit here and not weddings for a change. Back in January I challenged myself to do the couch to 5K and honestly found a love for running that I didn’t expect. Fast forward to today and I’ve just signed up to Manchester Half Marathon. Am I going to regret it? We’ll see 🤣

Part of me wanted to do it quietly incase I failed as I’ve never been into fitness before this year so the thought of running for 13.1 miles is a lil’ crazy. But I figured why not try and raise money for a charity while doing it and honestly I was going back and forth through different charities and couldn’t decide. But then looked at Moose (swipe the next pic for those who ain’t had the pleasure yet) and remembered his knee surgery next week.

Now don’t get me wrong, we’re lucky, he’s insured and we don’t have to worry about the cost but not everyone has that luxury for when I looked for charities that help, I found Blue Cross and it made my mind up instantly. So basically what I wanna say is, if anyone can spare anything to donate towards this or even if you can just share it round with your friends & families it would be hugely appreciated. It’s been a quiet season so far but this was a special one! Getting the chance to capture 2 friends’ day was a privilege. The energy all day was absolutely top tier and I’ll be remembering this one for a while.

To go from travelling the country with Martin filming his band on tour to capturing his and Chloe’s wedding definitely got me a lil’ emotional on the day so I’ve got Harriet () to thank for capturing what I missed on the day 🤣

Final wedding of the year deserved some recognition! Islay and Scott made it official with a stunning lil’ micro wedding down in Brighton and I got the honour of taking to trip down to spend the day with them both and what a way to cap off my weddings for the year!
