I'm starting the week with a throwback to last June when I headed to the Town Hall Tunbridge Wells for a brand shoot with Timemarker.

During an extremely hot summer morning ☀️ , we were tasked with capturing a range of imagery which really spoke to Timemarker's ideal clients.

The shoot was brilliantly supervised and planned by Sharp Thinking Marketing, and we used a host of carefully considered brand colour props, as well as branded items, to capture top down spreads, close ups and detail shots. We also mocked up 'client meetings' and illustrated the ease of use of the software in the images.

In just a few short hours, we were able to capture all the imagery needed to really elevate their website, accompany a whole host of blogs and spread their message across their marketing channels consistently and professionally...

I started donating blood back in my 20s. It's something that is so simple and so easy to do - and makes me feel very proud every time I go (about 3 times a year)! I've now got over 25 donations under my belt. 😃

A little throw back to a really lovely shoot I completed for STEREO INTERIORS LIMITED this time last year. I shot for them previously - the week before we all shut down for lockdown! - and it was time to head back over to their offices for some updated brand imagery.

We shot headshots, details, working shots, team shots, textures and loads else besides (and don't even get me started about when the sunshine through the window created the most amazing patterns on the wall! 😝 ).

A small team, but so welcoming and a complete delight to work with.

Not my usual business related post at all, I just wanted to share some picture from a dawn shoot a couple of weeks ago. I was out of bed before 4am and it was so very worth it!

I absolutely loved being out at sunrise. It was so peaceful and utterly beautiful.

If I had a pound for every person who had stood in front of my camera and said, "Oh, I love having my photo taken; fire away..." - I would NOT be a rich person!! 🤣

There is very often a negative psychology behind how we view ourselves. Still images frequently serve to exacerbate those negative feelings. We've had bad experiences in the past (school portraits - who remembers those fun experiences 😱 ?) and they're hard to forget when you've got the evidence in the form of a photo!

But photography has come a long way in the last couple of decades. It's no longer just about turning up, standing and smiling awkwardly and leaving with a picture you hate!

If you hate pictures of yourself and haven't had a headshot taken in more years than you care to remember, maybe I can help! 🥰
