🧘‍♂️ Today's World Meditation Day - which reminds us all to slow down, breathe and reset.🧘‍♂️

But in surveillance control rooms, operators rarely get the luxury of switching off.

That’s where Mimic's learned tours come in. Mimic is a standard feature across 360 Vision Technology Ltd's UK designed and built ruggedised PTZ ranges.

Our Invictus and Predator cameras can learn and repeat an operator’s manual patrol route automatically - recreating realistic pan, tilt and zoom movements without constant joystick control.

That movement matters ... because when a PTZ camera is actively on the hoof, scanning and behaving like a live operator is in control, potential intruders notice.

In many cases, visible surveillance activity alone can be enough to make opportunists think twice.

So nope, we’re not suggesting operators meditate on shift … but it’s reassuring to know your PTZ camera can continue realistic patrol behaviour while operators focus on the dozens of other cameras, alarms and incidents demanding attention.

🎥 Intelligent PTZ automation
🛰 Realistic patrol patterns
🛡 Visible deterrence
👁 Better operator efficiency

Another smart feature from 360 Vision Technology - designed around real-world surveillance challenges!

It's fabulous to see our UK designed & built Predator PTZ camera on patrol, doing its thing with Greater Manchester Police to contribute towards safer communities. Thank you for trusting us our engineering and technology!

Live Facial Recognition (LFR) technology has resulted in dozens of arrests in support of our neighbourhood policing operation.

We have two LFR vans that have been operational for six months and responsible for 64 arrests.

Of the 208 alerts, just over half have been for registered s*x offenders – two notable arrests resulted in suspects being jailed:

LFR is another tool at our disposal to further bolster our neighbourhood policing operation and there have been deployments across Greater Manchester, including in Manchester, Stockport, Rochdale, Trafford, Bury and Wigan.

Inspector Jon Middleton said: “LFR is deployed to support neighbourhood policing by helping officers identify individuals on our watchlist wanted for serious offences or by the courts, or in breach of court-imposed conditions.

“This technology complements traditional policing by allowing officers to focus their time on visible patrols, engagement, and prevention.”

👟 Are you making the most of "National Walking Month" this May? 👟

National Walking Month encourages more people to get outdoors and enjoy the wellbeing benefits of walking, and it’s a reminder of how important safe and welcoming public spaces really are.

Whether it’s a town centre, public park, retail or business park or shared urban environment, people are more likely to walk, travel and spend time outdoors when they feel safe in the spaces around them.

At 360 Vision Technology, our ruggedised Predator and Invictus PTZ surveillance solutions are designed and engineered in the UK to help support safer public spaces and stronger communities.

From helping deter anti-social behaviour and criminal activity, to supporting CCTV operators and emergency services with real-time situational awareness, surveillance technology plays an important role in protecting the environments people use every day.

Operating reliably in all weather and lighting conditions, our solutions help maintain safer spaces for walking, commuting, exercising and social interaction - day and night - including remote or hard-to-reach locations where traditional infrastructure may not exist.

🚶‍♂️🌳 Because safer public spaces help communities thrive. 🚶‍♂️🌳

If safer public spaces are part of your strategy, we’d love to discuss how we can help. Get in touch with us at https://www.360visiontechnology.com/contact/ and we'll be right back to you!

Lest we forget… 81 years on, most of us can only imagine the overwhelming relief, triumph and happiness experienced by those who celebrated VE Day; tempered by the pain, sacrifice and lasting trauma endured throughout the war.

So on VE Day today, we remember the courage, resilience and sacrifice of those who helped protect communities during one of history’s most challenging periods.

While the world has changed dramatically over the decades, the importance of helping people feel safe in the spaces they live, work and gather remains just as relevant today.

Across our towns, cities, transport networks and critical public spaces, security and surveillance technology now plays an important role in supporting safer environments and stronger communities - usually quietly working in the background to help protect people and infrastructure alike.

At 360 Vision Technology, we’re proud to support those responsible for maintaining public safety every day.

Today, we pause to reflect, remember and honour those whose courage and sacrifice helped shape the communities we know today. Thank you. ❤️

👀 You’ve been seen 👀

Last week, we highlighted how New Forest District Council’s Invictus hybrid and wireless CCTV upgrade is helping to tackle anti-social behaviour - combining rapid deployment with intelligent surveillance, including the use of white light.

360 Vision Technology Ltd's ruggedised Predator and Invictus PTZ cameras equipped with intelligent white light illumination are doing more than capturing footage - they’re actively shaping safer environments.

Whether it’s deterring anti-social behaviour in a busy high street, shining a light on would-be thieves on a construction site or following intruders across a solar farm or utility installation, white light plays a vital role.

Here's why:

🔦Visual deterrence - white light changes behaviour. Think busy high streets and city centres, parks and recreational grounds - fights, drug activity, physical safety risks to vulnerable people and a host of other unsavoury antics. The immediate psychological impact of white light can help de-escalate incidents before they gain momentum and get out of control.

A London Borough deploying our white light-enabled Invictus PTZs in public spaces continues to see a marked reduction in crime and anti-social behaviour - particularly during high-risk periods such as pub and club closing time.

🔦Full colour evidence – white light enables high-quality colour footage, especially in low light conditions or at night - critical for clear identification and evidential value.

🔦Enhanced tracking support - white light enhances an operator’s ability to visually follow a subject or situation, providing vital assistance during live incident response.

🔦Operator confidence - in poorly lit environments, rural utility sites, for instance, white light gives monitoring teams clear, contextual visual information to make rapid decisions.

🔦Enhanced scene awareness – illuminates areas for first responders – vital, especially where lighting infrastructure is limited.

Of course, with 360VT's cameras, white light or IR isn't an "either/or" choice - we can give you both, beautifully integrated into your camera of choice!

Speak with us about the variety of intelligent long-range lighting options on our Predator and Invictus ranges – we’d love to hear about your operational requirements and advise you accordingly! You can get in touch via our website here https://bit.ly/3TJzueW

👉 If white light isn’t part of your security response, you’re missing a critical layer of deterrence.

Adaptable coverage and faster problem solving with a flexible, scalable, cost-effective solution - this is what modern public space surveillance should look like.

When New Forest District Council had a challenge, they approached the team at Chroma Vision. NFDC needed to:

👉 Upgrade and expand CCTV coverage across towns and rural forest
👉 Tackle anti-social behaviour hotspots
👉 Do it without the cost and disruption of fibre installs

By upgrading the existing network with 360 Vision Technology Ltd's ruggedised Invictus Hybrid PTZ cameras - featuring integrated white light and IR - and deploying additional Invictus TX wireless units in remote locations, they achieved:

✔ Seamless migration from analogue to full HD IP - at the council's pace
✔ Rapid deployment of cameras in remote and hard-to-reach areas
✔ Reliable 4G/5G video transmission with minimal bandwidth
✔ On-demand redeployable surveillance to follow emerging issues

This avoided costly fibre installations and enabled a phased upgrade across the estate, with no compromise on performance. It also means that once troublesome hotspots have been addressed, the Invictus TX cameras can be quickly and easily redeployed, ready to tackle other areas of concern.

If you're still thinking CCTV upgrades mean starting again - it’s time to think differently!

🐣Easter eggs are hidden; threats shouldn't be!🐰

The long Easter weekend might mean quieter roads for commuters - but for highways agencies, utilities operators, public space teams and first responders, it's one of the highest-pressure periods of the year.

Reduced staffing. Increased footfall. Longer response times.
This is exactly when ruggedised, always-on surveillance matters most.

360 Vision Technology's UK designed and manufactured Predator and Invictus PTZ cameras are armed with great integrated technology options, including IR & white light to 600m, integrated radar detection and thermal imaging.

They don't take bank holidays - they'll be busy protecting critical national infrastructure sites, highways and public spaces sites all around the world.

Resilience doesn't clock off. Neither do our cameras!
