Here’s my latest and final image from last year, Himeltinden in Vestvågøy, North Norway.
If you get the chance, have a look on a larger screen, it really shows the scale and detail far better than a phone.
This was a completely unplanned stop during the day while we were on the road, but sometimes those spontaneous moments turn out to be the best ones.
It wasn’t the easiest shot to get either!
We parked up, carefully making our way (sliding) across an icy road, to then stand knee-deep in snow on a slope to frame it properly.
To then set all my gear up, which was quite comical… but extremely challenging at the same time.
Not the most comfortable setup! but definitely worth it for the result. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed (eventually!) capturing it.
I call this one simply, Himmeltinden.
(Because pain in the arse doesn’t sound quite right)
Enjoy!😊🇳🇴🥾❄️
Grateful if shared✌🏼

H A M N Ø Y
It has been a personal ambition of mine to explore the Lofoten Islands, but to be able to capture this particular shot.
Hamnøy has been photographed countless times, often in exceptional light.
I had one opportunity, this was the outcome.
But to be honest, it was just something to be able to stand there and take it all in.
Simply breathtaking.

First attempt at Drone work…! 𖥂
Basically, taking everthing I’ve learnt with my Canon, applying the same basic rules and throwing it into the air!
Definitely something to be mastered..
(Especially when it comes to footage)
But for now, not a bad start…

It’s been a while!
After a brief hiatus this year, CP is excited to share some upcoming photographic adventures.
Our journey will take us to Northern Norway and the iconic Lofoten Islands—a breathtaking chain of fjords I’ve been longing to explore. With any luck, we’ll come away with some truly special shots.
This time, we’re adding a new twist to the kit: Drone Photography. I’m eager to capture some dramatic aerial perspectives to complement our usual work.
And if we’re fortunate, we might even be treated to a display from the Northern Lights.
Temperatures at night have already been dipping as low as -14°C, so best wrap up warm for this one!

In the peaceful village of Kirkjubæjarklaustur (easier to find than pronounce) is a wonderfully soothing waterfall, 𝙎𝙩𝙟𝙤́𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙛𝙤𝙨𝙨.
Located in the central south between Vik and Höfn, it’s a treat to shoot, and the perfect spot for a brew 😉
Forgive the lack of images this year, it’s been a challenging one personally and professionally.
Next year promises to deliver more action! Including the mighty Lofoten islands . .🇳🇴
Until then,
Merry Christmas to you all, and your families.
See you next year!

Thorufoss-(Þórufoss)🤘🏼
Tucked away just off the Capitals edge, your find Thorufoss, also know as Þórufoss.
15 minutes from Þingvellir National Park, a famous stop on the Golden Circle route.
A great shoot, neat spot, and 'almost' zero tourists..give it 3-5 years and chances are your have to pay for the privilege, either that or a hotel will be there.
