After a fantastic day at the Three Rivers Music Festival, We have been reflecting on how much work goes on behind the scenes to create opportunities like these for young people.

When a band walks on stage, it's easy to see the performance, but often invisible are the weeks of planning, rehearsals, transport arrangements, safeguarding, equipment preparation, stage management, communication, and all the little things that make the day run smoothly.

Firstly, a huge thank you to the Three Rivers Festival team for welcoming us and creating such a brilliant event for the community. From the stage crews and volunteers to everyone working behind the scenes, we felt incredibly well looked after throughout the day.

I'd also like to recognise our Aspire Creative Hub team, who worked tirelessly to ensure our young people were safe, supported, hydrated, encouraged and ready to perform. Their dedication helped create an environment where our young musicians could relax, enjoy themselves and shine on stage.

Most importantly, we're incredibly proud of every member and young person who performed. The confidence, courage and talent on display was inspiring to see.

Events like these are only possible because of the combined efforts of organisers, volunteers, staff, families and young people all coming together.

Sometimes the magic happens on stage. Sometimes the magic happens behind it.
