When you finish, they tell you to slow down — garden, telly, maybe a cruise if your knees hold out. No one tells you what to do when your brain won’t stop ticking.

I’ve always noticed. Patterns. Faces that don’t fit. And once you see — you can’t unsee.

So I watch. Not nosy… curious. Then I saw it. Same car. Same kid. Same time. Night after night.

Turns out there’s a whole world ticking underneath this one. Drugs. Money. Fear. Right under our noses.

I should’ve walked away.

Now I’m in. Burners. Late nights. Cover stories.

I’m not a cop. I’m not a hero. I’m just a bored old sod with ADHD and a Canon… in too deep.

And now I’ve got a choice — back off, or finish what I started. Before someone else does.
