I feel this last year or so we have been really quiet on social media.
KISS photography socially seemed to disappear. The good news for us is we have been busy, our lovely photography business has expanded, grown and matured.
I thought it was time to touch base out there and tell you who we are, what we do and what we now offer.
We are a husband and wife photography team.
We are still shooting weddings, which is how KISS photography all started. Depending on the size and style of your wedding day you either get one of us,or both. We shoot reportage and fun, we cover the day as a photo journalist would with the special ones casually staged.
Ricky spends most of his week days shooting interiors, he works for holiday let companies and estate agents. If the property needs staging, I ( Jenny) go along too and will russel up amazing lunches, breakfasts and sharing platters. I work with small budgets and grand budgets depending on the clients needs and how the property needs to look. We shoot details as well as rooms to get an overall feel.
Ricky is also the drone man, it could be to show off the location of the house near a beach or a over view of a campsite. He is trained and licensed and always has the best drone for the job. I think its his passion for boy toys and a secret desire to be a pilot, but he assures me its all part of being a photographer. I on the other hand can't even park my car straight so you won't ever find me on one of these jobs.
We cover event photography, this is my talent and passion. I have covered parties, festivals, openings, apple days, skatepark launches. I love to blend in with my camera and let it all unfold capturing it all. This is also where you'll find me at a wedding, mingling in unseen getting the smiles, the love and the laughter.
Food KISS photography is also a big part of our work, we have been called into restaurants, campsite bars, cocktail bars and pubs, we take stills and wonderful action shots of chefs at work. We covered the St.Ives food festival demos for Carbis Bay Holidays, such a fun day. We also shoot for a very well know food company, but aren't ever allowed to reveal, its all top secret as we get it before its shown to the world. It all gets prepped in our kitchen and styled here and our amazing friend and builder only last week was very impressed with his lunch...... no bacon butty's and builders tea here on a shoot day.
We shoot family shots, I shoot these and its always location, I love the beach for casual beautiful kids photography so tend to stay local in St.Ives, but I do love a bluebell wood in spring time and am always up for suggestions of special places.
So that's us and that's what we do. Mainly you'll find us with a camera on a beach or in an amazing holiday home on a day to day basis. Sometimes you'll find us at events, but blink and you'll miss us, on these events we like to blend in un noticed. We have some exciting projects in the pipeline and I aim to up date our social media more on what's going on.
