Hello!

Thank you to one of my second shooters Holly, for taking this photo of me and to my other second shooter, Emily, for filming the behind the scenes. Gotta nervous twitching hand. Guys, I get it. But I know how important it is to share who is behind the brand, and it's something I am working on - especially in stories where you'll see lots of daily updates to get to know me.

I'll introduce my wonderful team in due course. As of 2027 - all new bookings will have a second photographer for their wedding cover. If you'd like one this year, just get in touch!

38 today. How does life find me now?

- looking forward to uni visits with my son in coming weeks
- spending days with my gorgeous husband
- early morning dog walks with a happy heart while our rescue walks off lead tail wagging - and comes back to find me! 💖
- photographing weddings of wedding industry friends and beautiful couples who believe in love 💖
- nurturing the skill and craft of photography and sharing the skills as I teach others its joy
- finding knitting to be a life changing craft
- finding the natural world the most connective, beautiful thing I've experienced
- exploring the craft of sewing
- exploring growing flowers for the home at the allotment
- working less, earning less, but playing. It has a time frame and I'm going without luxuries for a while, all the while recognising that my family and my health is the luxury.
- treading carefully and kindly as we navigate days in this funny old world

P & OB married at The London Oratory, in Brompton Road. They chose the professional choir for their wedding service and so not only was the visual experience of this wedding incredibly beautiful, but the sound added a whole new dimension. What a special, January day. A joy to photograph.

So looking forward to tomorrows photo walk in Westfield. Bring your wellies!

The last session was a soggy one but I'm so impressed by the photographers who came along and took some time to focus on their photography. Most people used phones and one clever Veteran used a camera cover. Once we had walked back to base (see address at bottom of post) we had a cuppa, some biscuits and shared our work and thoughts. It's great fun.

This week we are focusing on 'Clear Landscapes'

So loking forward to tomorrow’s WOODLANDS session 🌲

My first session teaching photography to anyone who would like to learn.

We’ll be spending time in the woodland, slowing down and noticing shape, texture, and the quieter details of the landscape.

No pressure, no expectations. All levels are welcome. Just curiosity and time to look and take in whats around us.
