I have been asked how I photograph babies. It's quite simple really...patience. You cannot direct or pose young children they have a mind of their own. Get down to their eye level and be prepared to make a complete fool of yourself by making weird noises and facial expressions. Don't think firing off 50 shots a second will get the image you hope to capture. Take your time...Oh and don't let parents try to 'help' to get the baby to smile. 😆

STIRRING THE EMOTIONS

On Thursday 20th November I will be giving a presentation on my approach to portraiture at Sale Photographic Society in St Mary's Church Hall on Moss Lane, Sale, M33 6GD at 8:00pm
It's open to all and I would love to see some new faces as well as some old ones there. So please come along. It's only £4 on the door and you'll get a brew and some nice biscuits. 😄
