Hi everyone, Next weekend I'll be taking part in the 2026 Tough Mudder with work.

Chemring Energetics UK have put together a fantastic team for this year's tough mudder challenge to raise awareness as well as funds for three great local charities, Ayrshire Cancer Support, Whiteleys Retreat. and Ardrossan & Largs Sea Cadets.

Took a wee drive out to Portencross Castle last night when I seen the stats were showing a red alert for aurora. did get a nice wee burst of activity but it was just as it was starting to get light again. this was approx 02:20am this morning

Would just like to say a massive Thank you to all the guys at Largs Camera Club for being so welcoming and accommodating tonight, Thank you so much for inviting me along to talk about some of my work. it was a hugely enjoyable night and I really do appreciate the opportunity to talk to some amazing photographers about a subject I love so much.

Thank you so much to the guys at Ayrshire Magazine for the lovely feature in this months magazine. It's so surreal reading an article that's about you and about the subject you love so much, but it's surreal in a very pleasant way. it was also really nice seeing my photos of the MissGBAyrshire contestants there too so Thank you so much once again Ayrshire Magazine! and to the guys at Missgbayrshire:)

Was an absolute pleasure and privilege to be invited along to the first ever Miss GB Ayrshire Masterclass to capture some headshots and Behind the Scenes photos of the day's event at LJM Dance Studios and some group shots of the contestants as they celebrated their bug day at the Ghillie Dhu in Ayr. Thanks you so much to Kay Morgan for inviting me along to such an amazing event Missgbayrshire

The first ever Miss Great Britain Ayrshire Masterclass took place this weekend at Ayr’s LJM Dance Studios, bringing together 20 finalists aged between 19 and 71, for a day of preparation ahead of the upcoming grand final.

Finalists developed skills including stage presence, confidence, interview techniques and overall performance ahead of the grand final, which takes place at Troon Town Hall on June 27. Tickets are now available via Eventbrite.

Ayr’s Ghillie Dhu hosted the after-party and official launch of the pageant.

Was just about to format an SD card and this shot caught my eye so rather than just delete it like I do with thousands of photos every year I thought I might as well post it.

Bit late in the game for a resolution but I will try and delete less and post more photos this year I think, even if it's just for the sake of posting something to keep the page from slipping into irrelevance fans

Aurora Burst over Greenan Castle.

Short timelapse of the short lived Aurora from Friday Night over Greenan Castle in South Ayrshire. The camera had been running for a wee while capturing the night sky and finally when the aurora kicked off (about 10 seconds into the video) the camera battery decided to go to sleep. but the aurora only did last another few minutes or so after this so not a huge loss.
