Midweek post, featuring the common Buzzard on a hay bale and firmly fixed on its territory scanning for food.
Minutes before this, I nearly ran over a Hen Harrier in the road (I didn't it flew away safely, but I was as shocked as the Hen Harrier) so I couldn't resist pulling over and trying to locate it again. No Joy however I came back with this little beauty instead so I can't complain.
Quite a common sight in the skies but over never seen one close, perched in the wild so I was quite chuffed with this spot.
