So it has been a while since I've been on here and picked up a camera too - a lot has been going on between needing to rethink where i wanted my photography to go in terms of my own personal journey... to also moving up to a full time job at work and some other exciting personal life changes that will be happening very soon.

So with this is mind I'm starting to look at my diary and start to plan and make bookings for any kind of shoots - If you're looking to be part of something creative, a fellow creator looking to collaborate, or after a photographer for any Portrait or Cosplay based shoots - Drop me a direct message and lets get creatively weird in the name of photography :P

Lethargy of life (2021)

This year in particular has been a constant battle between wanting to get up and accomplish something and feeling so drained that that only stays a mindset!

The safe cocoons we’ve built this year whilst being cosy, I’m finding to be a detriment to my motivation. I’m fed up of feeling lethargic, the overwhelming sense that engulfs me saying you don’t need to put any energy towards the things that I love, that I want to do and make happen but ultimately I end up drowning in.

This is the first shoot I’ve done outside since October last year and it’s taking months of mustering up the energy to physically do it! I normally jump at the chance and I will do again soon!

Is anyone else feeling lethargic in general this year? How are you coping? What’s your best strategy for combatting the feeling?

Solitary Outgrowth (2021)

You can’t beat having fun with a cardboard box can you! 😂 legit I was like a child on Christmas Day thinking of what I could make with this simple prop and it helped to find my creativity that I’ve felt waver this year in particular...

It’s been a weird old year hasn’t it, we’ve been shut in, locked down and as we finally reach the year anniversary of the day we officially went into lockdown, it feels like we are outgrowing being shut in... the yurn to be free from the boxes we have been forced to stay in, to break free of the restraints that we can’t handle anymore - it’s like we are close to breaking point....

This has gone through my head a lot especially in the last two to three months, the lockdown has had a weird effect on how I see what used to be normality and what is now normal and how the longing to be without boundaries and restrictions is something so tantalising.

I’m really hoping to be back to shooting with others soon, and stories and posts will be coming later about the possibilities but for now I’m taking my time and creating when my mind and body feels up to it!

Let me know how you are all coping being creative in these last few months, and what you’ve done to overcome the feeling of solitary outgrowth...

Fishing For Dreams (2021)

So this idea came to me way back within the dead space between Christmas and new year because myself and my best friends were watching so many dreamworks films on Netflix and the logo was just a simple burst of inspiration into my little creative world.

It’s something that stood out to me not only to what looked like it’s simple composition but also because it would give me a fantasy world to create and make rather than shoot everything.... let me tell you that the plan I had was massively under planned as this simple looking image was a 3 week edit! 😅

I battled PSB files for the first time in my life, the simple task of sitting on the moon - (which isn’t easy even in a creative scale) and getting more training into understanding lighting and positions within compositing. It was a massive fun challenge for myself and it kind of stands for the symbolism of keep fishing for your dreams. I wanted to make this and I preserved and it’s the same with reaching your goal or dream. Sometimes you hook on easily and reel something in - other times it takes longer and more patience.

Again a massive thank you to for his teachings in lighting and photoshop and assisting me and to everyone for their help in response to my questions on my stories. Be sure to check out the making of this image up on my story and check out the link tree menu in my bio to follow find access to all the platforms I’m on and access to my print store ☺️

So a little while ago, my partner Matthew Linfield and I found this awesome tree stump when out on a walk and it lead to bringing this small series of portraits to life.

It’s been super fun to be commissioned and work with and for someone again, after this period of isolation too being able to bring something this cool to life outdoors has been really fun too!

If you’re looking to get some portraits done, maybe some headshots or bring a creative idea to life, whether it be through fashion or through cosplay - I am open to taking bookings so please feel free to get in contact.

Tangled Fabrications (2021)

Well this has to be in within my top 5 favourite self portraits... and not only because it gives lord of the rings vibes (if you know - double awesomeness points to you)

It’s weird to know that this image of myself was shot in the same place as my last image - within an attic - but building the image it just made Sense to strip away the attic setting and build a new atmosphere

I also feel this is kind of poignant at the moment - I feel like myself as a creative is slowly falling into a mixture of hibernation and feeling like I’m left out. Not in the sense of being physically left out or being ignored (my life is quite peachy) but I mean in the sense of a creative starting to feel forgotten about in this world.

It’s weird but these two months have been on hard on being creative to me - I come up with ideas but an overwhelming sense of not wanting to break through and create has swamped me. It’s like I’ve got all the ideas but I don’t want to move. I’m pushing through it and I’m gonna try and push myself on to making some outside images soon (as my body is literally craving for some outdoor exploration) but it’s not always coming up roses as a creative in this lockdown

Shoutout those artists and creators that you follow and find their work to be something you crave on seeing, promote everything you can of those with small businesses - we all need to support those who create and those who make in this time. With this please be sure to go on over and check out my print store over on my website (check the bio for more information)

Happy Wednesday everyone 🤘🏻 (Also a massive shoutout To my Good friend Jamie Flack for his assistance on editing this image :) )

Wraithlike (2021)

So this isn’t my normal style of imagery - usually I go for outside locations, for space and the freedom that comes with it. However when January began and we were packing down the decorations from Christmas I became obsessed with how awesome my partners attic. The beams were what drew me in - the sense of eerieness and I couldn’t turn it away - I knew I had to shoot in there.

It became a challenge for me - a sense of pushing my creativity to somewhere that was outside my comfort zone and it has been a difficult thing - from trying not to bang my head or get splinters from crawling around the space, working with purely artificial light - no sunlight or anything and no real sense of knowing how the image would turn out like

However one image caught my eye - a half in focus and half not shot of myself that just screamed - this will work and that has transformed into this image - the movement makes me think of the ringwraiths from lord of the rings and the ghost of Christmas past but it’s something that made me find this location to be strong for a ghost/extra Terrestrial vibe.

I urge you all to try and push your creative zone this year - even it’s just one simple thing of trying indoor locations that restrict you to push your creativity - let me know what you do choose, how it goes - let me know your creative adventure

And So It Continues (2021)

It’s so nice to finally share my first image of 2021 however difficult this year is starting... I must admit I wasn’t expecting the year to start as it has. As ever I have been full of positivity and hope that this year would be a bright change to how dreary 2020 was to all of us both creatively and emotionally - but it seems that this slog is going to continue for a fair bit!

I made an image back right before the 1st lockdown without really knowing what was going to happen during 2020 entitled “as the days pass”
(Please go and check that out in my profile.) i thought about how it would feel to be caged in a place where all you can do is count down the days that pass as there is nothing else that can be done and it was initially and always will hold some connotations to something personal to me. However 2020 helped to make that image the poster cover if you will of the year - of the isolation we went through, of how we felt and now starting another proper national lockdown again - I wanted to create something in response to it.

I see this image is two ways - both as my response to how I feel being shut back into the dreary cage of counting days pass but also a potential prequel to the first image - where light still can shine but the darkness is secluding us. I’d love to know how you plan to try and cope with all the lockdowns that are still in place and how you are doing mentally - check in with me. I’m happy to chat about absolutely anything to help a day pass quicker ☺️

To suffer from the flames we burn (2020)

And as each flame connected to her spirit - she released that just as each one burned stronger and brighter as they were around her - the pain that is caused from the devastating beauty made her realise just how close to being extinguished this life had brought her to be...

So this image is definitely up there in my favourites I’ve created over the many years of producing fine art imagery - purely because of how much atmosphere is in this image - how powerful this scene is yet shooting this was something that came naturally - something that wasn’t planned or decided - don’t you love it when that happens! 😄

I’m definekty feeling and really connecting to candles this year in terms of my symbolism and more and more I’m feeling the light in myself and the confidence in my work growing - it’s strange to think that this time last year I was struggling to even create anything because I had to have every detail planned out but I think just like these candles - you’ve got to let your energy and creativity burn bright and not allow the darkness swallow you up to make you stop! 🤟🏻

A massive thank you to for being my subject for this image and bring some demonic voguing to the shoot! Be sure to go and check out her creativeness at as well! You will love it! ☺️
